Arthur let out a long sigh, trying once again to calm the flames of jealousy burning inside him. He had been in the bathroom for almost twenty minutes, repeatedly splashing his face with water. His usually neatly styled black hair was now slightly disheveled from the water. How many more times he would have to witness the sight of Kalea and Kai, which he found utterly sickening. Even though Kai wasn't a jerk, Arthur could never accept the idea of Kalea choosing him over himself.
It was driving him crazy. Arthur was using every ounce of strength to keep his possessive side in check, not wanting it to come out and make Kalea hate him even more.
His sharp gray eyes were momentarily distracted by a knock on the door, followed by a soft, melodious voice he adored.
"Arthur, are you going to be much longer? Dinner's ready."
