"Lea? Are you okay?" Kai asked worriedly as Kalea's face suddenly changed as if she was thinking about something else and was a bit agitated.
"I-I'm fine," Kalea replied with an awkward smile. "But Kai, I'm still going to work there. I'm also pretty bored if I just sit around doing nothing."
Kai did not seem to agree, but who was he? If Kalea wanted to do it so badly, he could not force her. Kai caught up with the girl's footsteps that were already ahead of him.
"Tomorrow, I'll come with you to Uncle Robby's restaurant," Kai said.
"What? No need, don't trouble yourself anymore, Kai," Kalea refused as politely as possible.
"I might as well talk to him, it's okay, right?"
Kalea of course could not refuse, she just smiled and nodded slowly.
