Arthur made his way to the club, as always his arrival was greeted by many women thirsty for his touch. Arthur just smiled slightly, he ordered a drink and talked briefly with the bartender after which he walked to the table he had ordered. He watched people dancing or busy making out with people they just met. It was a common thing. Just like Arthur always did.
Every time a woman offered to accompany him, Arthur still refused. His mind was still full of the argument he had with Albern. He had already gulped down one bottle of alcohol and it was gone but Daniel hadn't arrived yet. He reached for his phone intending to actually call Zeline so that Dariel could arrive sooner. But finally, the man who was a doctor came too.
"Arthur," Dariel called out, he was a little worried because his friend was looking concerned at the moment.
"Oh, you're here!" said Arthur with a big smile. Daniel sat down, he looked around for someone.
"Where's Zeline?" asked Dariel.
"She'll be along in a minute," Arthur lied. It was just an excuse to get Dariel to come and keep him company. "You still like her, huh."
Dariel didn't answer, he poured the alcohol into a small glass and took a sip.
"She's happy with her sugar daddy," Arthur continued.
"Are you sure she's happy?"
"You're not sure?"
Dariel no longer answered. To be honest, it had been almost two years since the man had liked Zeline. When he first met the girl with the blonde hair, Dariel was already in love at first sight. It's just that, he always covered up his feelings until Zeline didn't even realize it. Only Arthur knew about it.
Dariel always held back his feelings of jealousy when he saw Zeline's intimacy with many other men. He knew that he had absolutely no right to forbid Zeline. He also knew how her family and financial situation was. And even though he wanted to help, Zeline always refused and always thought that she was too much of a jerk for a good man like Dariel. Inevitably, all Dariel can do is wait for Zeline and gradually move closer to Zeline so that the girl realizes his feelings.
He also knew that Zeline had kissed his own friend, his heart hurt but knowing how the two people acted made Dariel understand a little. He couldn't be angry at Arthur because Zeline was the one who was curious. Dariel understands that Arthur's charm has always attracted many women.
Arthur no longer teases Zeline too much after knowing Dariel's feelings for the girl. From the beginning, Arthur only considered the girl as his own sister and made it clearer after Dariel told him that he liked Zeline. Even now Dariel's feelings have not changed.
"So, what's up? I know you asked me to accompany you because you got into trouble again," Dariel said as he leaned his back on the sofa.
Arthur was silent for a moment, he had already poured the alcohol into a small glass and gulped it down. Daniel watched his friend who looked stressed.
"Don't get too drunk, idiot." Dariel warned.
"I haven't had much to drink, you know."
"So?"
"My dad came to the office and forced me to get married again," Arthur replied, starting to tell the story. Dariel listened with no intention of interrupting. "Of course, I still refused because I hadn't thought about it at all. I still want to have fun. But if I keep being asked the same questions, of course I'll go crazy," Arthur continued, ruffling his black mane.
Dariel knew why the man didn't want to get married. Arthur didn't trust women. A friend of his had been betrayed by a woman, making him a jerk like this.
"Actually, your parents just want to see you happy and worry if you keep playing with women," Dariel said.
"... I know."
"Are the women you've been close to none of the criteria suitable for you to marry?" asked Dariel.
"It's not that they're not suitable for marriage, it's that I don't want to get married and I'm not interested in getting more serious with them."
"Ah, I see. What about Chelsea? Haven't you been close to her lately?"
"We only share a bed, she already has a boyfriend."
Dariel looked incredulously at his friend, while Arthur looked relaxed. "You're having sex with someone who already has a partner?"
Arthur raised one eyebrow. "It wouldn't be my first time."
"You're such an asshole," Daniel said, making Arthur chuckle softly.
"I know."
"Then what about Titania?"
"Not my criteria, she's too spoiled."
"Camille?"
"She's even more spoiled."
"Hmm, Wendy?"
"She's getting married soon."
"Are you still in touch with her?"
"Not anymore, I haven't seen her lately. She is probably busy with her future husband and wedding."
"Are you sad?"
"For what? I'm glad she got the real happiness that she didn't get from me," Arthur replied with a meaningful smile. Among the women who always surrounded him, it could be said that Wendy was the one who had the longest relationship and fit the woman Arthur wanted. Wendy always asked him to have a more serious relationship but Arthur always refused. He was relieved that Wendy finally got love from a man who loved her sincerely.
"One more," said Dariel, still wanting to absent Arthur's women.
"Who else do you want to mention?"
"Your sugar baby. What's her name? I forgot."
Arthur's eyebrows raised, the man was silent for a moment. "Kalea."
"Yeah, what about her?"
"She's ... interesting. I like teasing her because her response is always resistance but not really resistance when I've touched her."
"The denial type, eh?"
"A little," Arthur replied, smiling as he remembered the girl. Dariel was a little suspicious of the change in his friend's demeanor after talking about the sugar baby his friend had recently hooked up with.
"Are you starting to like her?" guessed Dariel.
"Sure, I like her."
"I guess I asked the wrong question. Are you starting to feel comfortable and in love with that girl?" Dariel asked, correcting his words.
Arthur sighed, he smiled at Dariel. "I don't think so yet, I really don't want to get married, Dariel. Please understand me, don't be like Albern," whined Arthur as he put his arm around his friend's shoulder.
"Alright, alright. Whatever you want. But I'm curious about Kalea and want to meet her," Dariel said.
"I'll bring you together with her later."
"In this place?"
"No, I don't want to bring her to a place like this."
Both of Dariel's eyebrows rose, a little impressed to hear that, it was unusual for Arthur to forbid a woman.
Shortly after that, several women in miniskirts began to arrive at their table, Arthur finally accepted the two women to accompany him and Dariel. They talked for a while even though their hands were getting naughty with each other. Meanwhile, Dariel only embraced the woman's shoulder and did not want to continue further. He just wants the company of a conversation that is not sexual in nature.
Arthur couldn't be talked to seriously because the man had started making out with the woman. Arthur was getting more and more aggressive in kissing her and his hands started to go inside, squeezing her breasts. The woman began to climb onto Arthur's body, rubbing her crotch against his.
"Let's go to the room," she whispered in a seductive voice.
"Ah ... not yet," Arthur replied and returned to ferociously grabbing her lips.
Dariel rolled his eyes lazily, he watched the people who were still having fun. The man just realized that Zeline still hadn't come here yet. Until finally his gaze locked on the girl he knew so well.
"Arthur, it looks like Zeline is here," said Dariel but Arthur did not respond because he was still enjoying his naughty play.
Dariel squinted when he realized that Zeline was not only alone but with another girl who was no less beautiful than the girl Dariel loved.
"Looks like she brought a friend. What a pretty girl, people even turned their attention to them. Hey, Arthur, they're coming," Dariel said but his friend still ignored him. He sighed heavily. "You'd better rent a room now, idiot."
Dariel shook his head at Arthur's behavior. He politely asked the woman beside him to leave him alone because Zeline had arrived. "Arthur, Zeline's friend is very gergous. I like her cat-like eyes," Dariel said again as the two girls started walking towards their table.
Arthur's eyes rounded, there was something familiar about Dariel's words. He immediately stopped his lovemaking.
"Why?" the woman asked as Arthur stopped fondling her.
"You finally came," Dariel said when Zeline was right at their table.
"Huh? You knew I would come here and wait for me? And, what is Arthur doing?" asked Zeline as she pointed at Arthur who was still underneath the woman.
"As usual," Dariel replied casually. "Is she your friend?"
Zeline nodded. "She's Arthur's sugar baby."
Arthur asked the woman to move away from him even though she protested at being interrupted and walked away from the table. Arthur stared in disbelief at what he was seeing. Kalea felt the same way.
"Why are you here?"
