Five days had passed since Kalea's conversation with Zeline and there was still no confirmation about the job. Kalea was starting to get a little restless, her mind frantic and suspicious of whether the haughty girl was deceiving her and making her do all the group work herself. Kalea was in desperate need of extra work, she had not only waited for Zeline but had also spread out her application letters in various places. However, unfortunately there were no calls at all.
Today she intended to collect her promise to Zeline, if Zeline was not serious, it was inevitable that the girl would make the presentation for the day after tomorrow. Of course, Kalea didn't want to lose and let Zeline go her own way, she wasn't that naive.
Today's last class ended at 4pm, Kalea's next activity was to work at a family restaurant that was quite far from her campus. To get there, she had to take a 30-minute bus ride. Before that, her body moved to approach the girl who had been busy polishing her face.
"Zeline," Kalea called out.
Zeline stopped what she was doing, her eyes turned to Kalea, "Oh! You!" she called as if she remembered something she forgot, "Today you're coming with me," she continued, of course making Kalea frown, surprised.
"What do you mean?"
"You didn't forget about the job offer, did you?" Zeline asked for confirmation.
"No, of course not. I even intended to ask about it," Kalea replied. Zeline nodded, closing her foundation after feeling that her makeup was settled.
"Um..right this very moment?" Kalea now asked. Since she still had work to do, the time conflicted with Zeline's appointment. The blonde girl stared at the screen of her phone, her delicate fingers swiping through chat balloons with the man who would become her sugar daddy.
"It's scheduled for 6pm, but after seeing your appearance..." Zeline trailed off, her eyes flickering up and down at Kalea, "I can't possibly take you looking like this. So you should go home first, dress up pretty and your clothes too. After that I will pick you up later," Zeline ordered.
Kalea also looked at the clothes she was wearing, she realized that it might not be polite to look like this. But if Zeline told her to dress up pretty, she wasn't sure she could. Kalea had never even dressed up so she certainly didn't have any make-up tools like the blonde girl. She didn't even have enough money to buy one.
Zeline's arm flicked Kalea's bangs, the wound on the temple was still there, "What is this wound?" asked Zeline which Kalea quickly covered.
"It's nothing. Uh... Zeline, I actually don't have a good enough make-up kit and clothes."
A heavy sigh could be heard from Zeline, she could already tell from Kalea's face that she was objecting to what she had just said, "Then let's go to the mall first, my kind Zeline will help you. So you owe me a lot."

'I'm sorry sir, I have to excuse myself from work today due to an urgent matter. Yeah, thank you very much'
Closed cell phone calls.
By now, Kalea was at a fancy salon Zeline used to frequent. The blonde girl had been pulling her around, finding clothes, bags, etc. that suited her. She was amazed at Zeline because when picking out clothes the girl didn't look at the price tag at all and that was one of Kalea's little dreams. Although at the moment she really felt bad because the things on her body were Zeline's gifts and they couldn't be cheap like the ones she had at home.
For this impromptu plan, Kalea had already asked permission not to come to work to the boss of the restaurant where she worked. She is very confident that she will be allowed because she has always been absent from work.
"Make her beautiful but still look natural, don't be too bold. Oh, the wound on her forehead must be covered with makeup," Zeline instructed one of the salon workers.
"How about the freckles, miss?"
Zeline put down her fashion magazine, "Just cover them up, I don't know what Arthur's taste is."
After waiting for about an hour, Kalea's makeup was finished with satisfactory results. Kalea could not even believe that the figure in front of the mirror was her. The scars and freckles on her cheeks had disappeared. The straight hair that she always tied in a ponytail was now replaced with wavy hair that flowed beautifully.
Not wanting to linger, Zeline quickly paid and immediately pulled Kalea again to go meet her sugar daddy man.

At 7 o'clock they were at a 5-star restaurant, and this was the first time Kalea had ever stepped into such a luxurious restaurant. The awaited figure had not yet shown his nose, Kalea's heart was honestly a little pounding because she didn't know what kind of man she would accompany in the future.
"Haah ... why is he taking so long?" Zeline grumbled in annoyance.
"It's only been 10 minutes we've been waiting, maybe there's a traffic jam," Kalea said soothingly.
"Oh, there he is."
Kalea turned to Zeline who raised her hand towards someone, then turned to look at the man who was getting closer to the table they were at.
The man hugged Zeline casually, then looked at Kalea and embraced her. Although Kalea was a little surprised, her body seemed to be shocked when she came into contact with this handsome man in front of her.
"I'm sorry I'm late, my meeting just ended," he opened his voice.
"Yea yea, no problem. Then I'll just get to the point. Arthur, this is my college friend I was telling you about, and Kalea this is Arthur Jefferson the guy you're going to be with," Kalea said introducing them naturally. Arthur smiled awkwardly at that, Kalea even blinked her hazel eyes.
Zeline looked at the clock in her hand, "Then I'll be leaving for some more business, it's okay if I leave you guys alone, right?"
Kalea's eyes rounded as she turned to Zeline, was this girl really going to leave her immediately? Seriously, she didn't want to be alone with the man named Arthur so soon.
"Are you really leaving?" asked Arthur with furrowed brows.
"Of course I am, there's no way I'm going to stay here, right?"
"Yes, but-"
"Okay, good luck you two!" Zaline said after patting Kalea and Arthur's shoulders in turn to encourage them.
And now it was just the two of them left, awkwardly.
Kalea didn't even dare to look at him, his aura was so frightening.
"Let's eat first, we can do further introductions at the hotel," Arthur said, making Kalea immediately look at the handsome man.
Hotel?
There was no such word in her agreement with Zeline!
"Hotel? Why hotel?"
This time it was Arthur who wondered, "Yeah ... because we're going to do it?"
"Doing what? Aren't I just accompanying you in the mall? Like buying stuff or something."
"... huh?"
"Eh?"
They fell silent again digesting each other's words. Arthur berated Zeline inwardly, he already suspected that there must be something the girl was hiding even though the club told him everything from the beginning. If this was the case, it was like they were deceiving an innocent girl and pulling her into the abyss of immorality.
Zeline was still a bad girl to her.
Arthur looked back at Kalea's hazel eyes, even though the words afterwards would make him feel guilty but this had to be straightened out, "Well-what was your name earlier?"
"Kalea, Kalea Orlin Lovaata."
"Okay. So, Kalea, I'm not crushing your expectations or anything like that. But do you know what you'll be working as?"
"As ... what?"
"Do you know sugar daddy or sugar baby?"
"What's that?"
Damn Zaline ... how many times does he have to explain this to her friend ....
"You can look it up on the internet," he said as he rubbed his increasingly dizzy forehead. Kalea immediately obeyed Arthur's command, after finding what she was looking for, rounded eyes and a gaping mouth covered with a palm were the first reactions Arthur saw.
"Be the mistress of an old man who is married and has children?" Kalea glanced at Arthur in disbelief.
"I'm not old and not married either!"
"Then this is ... what does this mean?"
"Well, it is what it is. You'll get the money, and I'll get my fulfillment. I wouldn't be satisfied with just a ride to the mall or something, would I?"
Now Kalea nodded slowly in understanding.
Seeing the girl in front of him as lethargic as if she hadn't been fed for ten years made Arthur unable to bear it, he sighed heavily. Pulling out a piece of paper that he had prepared earlier, "For today we don't need to go to the hotel, it seems that you are in severe shock after learning the truth. You can read this first." Arthur handed over the paper.
"This will be our contract, you don't need to agree today. Take it easy, just ask what you're curious about first," he continued.
"Can I know how much money I'll get?" Kalea asked to the point.
"Whatever you want. I'll fulfill all your needs."
"Like what?"
"Your tuition fees, I'll pay for that."
"No need, I went to college on a full scholarship," Kalea said, slightly impressing Arthur.
"I'll give you a luxury apartment, clothes and so on. Whatever you want, I'll give it to you." Arthur's words didn't tempt Kalea, she hesitated. Kalea narrowed her cat's eyes,
"The money is really yours, right? You didn't borrow it from the bank or anything?"
Kalea's question successfully made Arthur choke on the whiskey he was drinking.
How unexpected.
"Well, are you doubting me? Don't you know who I am?" Arthur couldn't accept that the girl in front of him didn't even know who he was, "You can look up Arthur Jefferson on your phone."
The second time she obeyed Arthur's command, the screen read that the man in front of her was the CEO of an IT company and had branches everywhere. After learning that information, she locked her phone again, "I believe," she said with a flat look.
"This ... I can still think about, right?"
Arthur smiled, putting down his empty glass, "Of course, but I can't wait long. I'll give you three days."
Kalea nodded, her arm reaching for her knife and fork to begin cutting into the delicious steak she had been ignoring.
They were now busy eating without speaking, their minds both racing.
Arthur wiped his mouth with the handkerchief provided, indicating he was done with his dinner. Followed by Kalea, he didn't know what they were going to do after this, there was no prediction at all.
"Then today I'll follow your expectations, accompany me shopping," Arthur said, opening his voice after their silence. After paying the restaurant's bill, he pulled Kalea's arm to leave the place for somewhere else.
This time it was completely in line with Kalea's expectations. She accompanied Arthur to buy suits, shoes, and other things that he needed. Even though she only followed behind like a duckling following its mother. Arthur didn't even ask her which ones were good for him.
Her heels starting to hurt, Kalea asked permission to sit on the couch that was designated for waiting. She took off her heels to see what condition her feet were in, and sure enough they were red from blisters. Kalea hissed in pain, she shouldn't have pushed what was unusual for her.
"What's wrong with your feet?"
Kalea looked up to find Arthur who was now staring straight at her feet, "Oh ... nothing," Kalea replied as she put her heels back on.
"No need to force it." Arthur squatted right in front of Kalea, taking off the heels that covered the girl's beautiful feet, "Can you stand up?"
"Yeah." Kalea's breath caught as Arthur stared at her, a piercing gaze she was discovering for the first time. Kalea did not want to continue being hypnotized by the handsome man in front of her, she was well aware of the charm. Kalea tried to stand up but her legs wouldn't cooperate and she almost fell but a strong arm held her up.
"I told you not to force it."
Kalea's eyes rounded as the arm lifted her up, carrying her like a royal princess. "W-what are you doing?"
"Just shut up, Little one."
"W-wait a minute! What about your things?"
Arthur glanced at his shopping bag, "Staff! Keep my things, I'll get them later."
"Yes, Sir."
The handsome man looked back at Kalea casually, "Problem solved, right?" then tightened his hold on her, stepping out towards the women's shoe shop.
Kalea was dizzy as Arthur kept pointing to one shoe after another as if everything in this store was something he could buy.
"I just need one shoe, you don't need to buy everything here, Uncle," Kalea said a little annoyed, Arthur's finger stopped and looked at Kalea just as annoyed,
"You called me uncle?" Arthur snapped his fingers at Kalea's forehead, "I'm your daddy, even though it's not official yet."
Ugh, the thought of her calling the man in front of her Daddy is just a bit ridiculous.
Maybe it was the first time they met, but Kalea already dared to nag this CEO man. Because it didn't stop here, Arthur continued to buy her luxury goods. What if they were really in a daddy baby relationship or whatever she thought of it, Arthur's wealth could be drained just for her. Although it seems impossible.
Kalea was now in a luxury sports car with its owner. Arthur insisted on taking her home, since it was late at night.
"How was your first impression of meeting me?" Arthur asked, his eyes focused on the road ahead.
"It was crazy."
Arthur laughed crisply.
"I'm interested in you, so I hope you approve of our relationship."
Kalea turned to Arthur in disbelief at what she was hearing, "I meant interested in being your daddy," Arthur continued. Not wanting Kalea to misunderstand in another direction.
The car stopped at Kalea's direction, she didn't want to get too close to her house because it would be very suspicious. "Thank you for today, I will think very, very hard about that contract," Kalea said.
Arthur chuckled as he nodded his head, his hand extended to the top of Kalea's head, stroking it gently, "See you later then, Baby."
"Um ... okay ... Arthur."
"Call me daddy."
"Later." Kalea immediately opened the car door to say goodbye, leaving Arthur who kept laughing because he managed to make Kalea become awkward.
Looks like Arthur got an interesting toy.
