' I wonder what she's doing that she has to leave' Dean and Clark thought simultaneously as they sat at the stall, having dinner. They both shared the same views when it came to her ditching them out of the blue , though she didn't lie completely as she had other plans .

" Anyone home" Raya asked as she banged on the door harshly, she had been standing there for quite a while and was already worried as it was already late and she had to do some overtime work without the others. She heaved a sigh of relief as her relentless banging on the doors were finally answered, as a women on her forties poked her head out the door, and stared at Raya " Mrs Jones" Raya greeted as the woman stepped away from the door for Raya to let herself in. Her cheeks were swollen and her eyes were red and puffy, and she looked like she had been grieving a while. " Are you okay ma'am" Raya asked despite knowing the answer to her question, ' it'd be alot better if she talks about it now than to bottle it up for never' Raya thought to herself as she took off her jacket and hanged it. "It's Nicole, I haven't seen her since two days now , and we last spoke when she told me she was on her way home, I really don't know what to do " Nicole's mom replied absentmindedly as she sat down , Raya felt a big lump in her throat as she didn't know how to disclose to the woman that her daughter was dead. ' why did it have to be me , I'm the only one that knows ' Raya thought as she walked over and caressed the woman's back. ' that damned Flatliner !' Raya thought as she mentally searched her brain for what to say, when the sound for he evening news report sounded out loudly in the spacious living room that seemed even more empty with the broody silence quickly engulfing it causing the tensed feeling coming of Raya to be so thick one could cut through . ' already! ' Raya screed inwardly as she saw Nicole's mother look up at the TV as they were almost at crimes section already,
" I've been looking at the news hoping to see her for a while now " Nicole's mother spoke as she had regained her composure due to Raya's presence and stood up to get herself a glass of water as her throat was already dry from all the crying she had done in the past few days. Raya tried all her best to remain calm for Mrs Jones but all those effrts were reduced to nothing when a particular headline sounded out the whole room " Young girl found dead with a blood red drawing of a flatline on her head at Winston alley 2 days ago " .Raya' s worse dreams came through as Mrs Jones rushed in with the water in her hands to see what was going on , " She has been identified by the drivers license in her wallet as Nicole Jones...." The news read on but was overshadowed by the sound of a glass of water crashing to prices on the delicate marble flooring which caused a crack to surface on ground. It didn't help that a picture of Nicole from her drives license was displayed boldly on the screen alongside the blurred up picture of her dead body being observed and photographed by the detective's on scene. " so they finally let the press have a look, or publish whatever it was they scavenged" Raya mumbled in audibly as she sped over to MrsJones who was frozen to the ground by the shocking news she had just received. " Mrs Jones!!" Raya called out but no answer , "Mrs Jones " Raya called frantically but there was no answer, she turned to the tv and quickly went to switch it off to avoid any more disturbing information. she turned around to see Mrs Jones falling to the ground apparently passed out from the shocking revelation, ' this is why I don't watch the news' ray thought as he quickly skid over and caught her head before it hot the ground. ' I can't take her out on my own , I'm going to need some help' Raya thought as she gritted her teeth and tried to lift her up but to no avail.
Picking up her phone she quickly dailed Dean,
wondering what to say as she didn't like lying to him, " Hello..." his voice rang out in the 'empty' room "Raya are your there?" he asked worriedly.
