" the higher ups have already given orders , we wait any longer and we might be penalized, I know you care about these kids, I do too but we don't have a choice , besides if they're as good as thier instructors say, they might help us get a lead on this case " replied Cole

" Are you for real , your nephew is the kid being sent out on this case and your all indifferent about it"

" Do I look indifferent to you Jerry?, I'm just as worried but I can't put family first right now, besides he's good "

" Heh, you'll tell me how good he is when he becomes a target"

" Detective the cadets are here" Interrupted Detective Jimmy as he had been observing Cole and Jerry bickering for a while .

" thanks partner" Cole replied walking up to the junior officers .

"Dean Samuel" shows his card," alright the detective's over there" points towards Cole and Jerry, " thanks, Rick".

" Your kids are here" Jimmy says nudging Jerry. Jerry looks up to see Raya and Dean walking up to him , he picks up the tool kit and walks towards them, " You're late, both of you" Jerry said with a stern expression on his face as he hands the equipment kit over to Dean ,

" That's because someone woke up late " ,

" that's no excuse , I spoke to you guys earlier today so Dean waking up late is no excuse " Jerry said picking out three pairs of rubber gloves from the kit and taking one for himself . Raya takes the gloves from him while picking out a lab coat and a pair of masks, while maintaining a gloomy expression. " Thats in the past , you two gear up and meet me over there " points to the corpse being covered by some coroners.

" That was close , I thought he was going to pounce on us" Dean chuckles trying to light up the mood ,

" I told you he was going to be mad" Raya replies putting on her mask, " Well he's not"
