Chereads / REVENGE OR LOVE? / Chapter 6 - CHAPTER 6

Chapter 6 - CHAPTER 6

Narsih tidied up her employer's mattress full of disgusting liquid from her employer's struggles. As for Amelia, she enjoyed a sweet snack to recharge her energy after her energy was exhausted.

"Put it in the washing machine immediately, Mrs. ... just watch out if Robi finds out," she threatened as she clung to her dark lover.

"Y-yes, madam."

Narsih immediately finished her task, then hurried off to do the rest according to her master's orders. After all, she was also sick of seeing sights she shouldn't have seen.

"You're sure Mrs. Narsih will keep her mouth shut, right?"

"You don't believe it? Isn't our relationship for one year safe? Everything proves that the old granny kept her mouth shut."

"I'm just worried ... that's all."

The man stroked Amelia gently. "Don't worry, all is well, right?"

"How long does the drama have to run? I'm tired ...."

"Of course ... after you can get most of Wijaya's treasures."

"I think my savings might be enough. We can also sell some of the properties that Robi bought for me."

"Don't be reckless! You think the money will be enough for us to live with our child?!"

Amelia gasped. "I-I'm just tired of acting—"

"Not yet, Mel. You don't want life to be as hard as it used to be, do you?"

Amelia shook her head quickly. "Of course."

"So, let's follow the flow of this drama. If you can hold two at once, why should you let go of one of them?"

"Aren't you jealous? Or maybe you don't love me ...."

"Hey! Why are you saying such terrible things? I love you, it's going crazy. But, I will give up because of all this for our future."

Amelia took a deep breath, actually she was fed up with this complicated drama. "Okay, I'll try to continue everything."

"Well, that's it."

The man smirked. Even though Amelia was fed up with the play she was playing, there was no other way but to follow the plot. She could only hope that everything went according to plan.

The man gently caressed her again, then kissed her body which was already wet with sweat. Meanwhile, Amelia can only enjoy the turmoil that came back to her. However, suddenly the man stopped his hand, then got up and grabbed his clothes.

"I'm home, I'm afraid your husband will come home soon."

Amelia buried her body in the chest area of the dream. "Though I still want to continue, what a shame ...."

"Hey ... we can go back to doing that if we get the chance, take it easy."

"Promise?"

"Yes, of course, my naughty cat. As usual, when the opportunity arises, I will make you drunkenly," he teased as he pinched Amelia's crooked nose.

The man immediately put his clothes back on. Get ready to leave before the actual owner returns.

Before leaving, they made out one last time. If they weren't worried about Robi coming back, maybe they could do it again.

"Bye, honey."

"Bye."

The man walked away, leaving Amelia, still tired from the struggle earlier.

She missed the time when Robi was away for a long time. It could freely invite him to stay to spend a hot night, but there was a chance that it would be difficult to happen again.

Amelia feels her love for Robi has faded. All she gets from her marriage is abundant wealth that can meet her physical needs, but not others.

Arriving at the house, Robi immediately rushed to the room. He was sure Amelia must still be sulking, plus come home late.

Therefore, before going home, he stopped by to buy Amelia's favorite cake as a form of apology.

"S-sir, are you home?" asked Narsih, who had just finished washing.

"Yes, Mrs., what are you doing?"

"Just finished washing, sir."

"Next time, just do it in the morning, ma'am."

"Y-yes, sir."

Of course, Narsih would, but since the sheets were evidence of an affair that needed to be put away, she couldn't leave it until the following day.

"Ma'am, please bring the cake to your room, okay?" he ordered Narsih.

"Very well, sir. Would you like some tea or coffee?"

"I want some tea, Amelia usually prefers lemon, right?"

"Okay, sir. I'll take you later."

Robi went to his room, he saw Amelia, who was already asleep. Must be tired from this afternoon—he thought.

"Mel, honey," he whispered.

Amelia opened her eyes, how surprised she was when Robi was by her side with a look full of love.

"When are you coming home?"

"Only just."

"Wait a minute, let me make you a drink first," she said to get up from the bed.

"No need, I already told Mrs. Narsih earlier. Put on the jacket, we'll sit on the balcony," he asked.

Robi opened his bedroom door wide, letting fresh air into the room. The sparkling sea of stars lighted up the sky.

Knock Knock'

"Come in."

Narsih came with two glasses of warm tea and a cake that Robi bought, how happy Amelia was because it was her favorite cake.

"Did you bought it?"

"Sure, who else?"

"Thank you, Honey."

Seeing his wife voraciously eating the cake he gave her, Robi felt that Amelia's mood was better than before. They chatted a little, enjoying the cool night air and the beautiful night sky.

Robi tried to find a way to talk about his departure in the next two days with Amelia. As much as possible, he didn't want Amelia to sulk, it could make her heart agitated.

"How ... delicious?" he asked.

"Excellent!"

"Glad you enjoyed it."

How could it not be, Amelia was craving to eat the cake, she just planned to buy it tomorrow or the day after. However, who would have thought that the husband bought it first.

"Mommy, what's the matter, Bi?" Amelia asked as she took a sip of her drink.

"That's, actually mommy asked to be accompanied to take Grandma for treatment, Mel."

"Oh, then?"

"Yes, it can't be helped. I must come."

Amelia nodded slowly. "Well, come on, I think mommy asked you to go out of town again," she said, pursing her lips.

"But we're gone for two days, Mel."

In her heart, Amelia jumped for joy. However, of course, she was trying to keep Robi from finding out, Amelia kept a calm expression.

"It can't be helped, even if you forbid it, you still has to go, right?"

Robin nodded slowly. "Sorry, Mel. I has persuaded mommy to invite you, but—"

"Don't go on, just go, I already know the situation."

"I'm sorry, honey," he whispered.

Amelia approached Robi and sat on her husband's lap. "Don't worry, just go."

"You're not mad?"

Amelia shook her head. How could she be angry because it was precisely what she had been waiting for?

"Thank you, Mel."

"You're welcome, Dear."

Robi wrapped his arms around Amelia's waist. They enjoyed a beautiful night full of romance like a husband and wife who love each other.

His wife's betrayal had tarnished his sincere love if Robi knew.
