It's a wonderful dark outside.
Birds start to sing.
Flowers are spiritless.
In a twilight like these, it's a great day for a working adult to wake up.
For an alarm clock to ring loudly can make someone wake up.
A man woke up and started his day by rubbing its belly. Following to stand up, he went into the bathroom for him to wash his face. Then later went downstairs to brew a coffee and prepare some bread for breakfast. And after eating and a bit of resting, he soon took a bath and put on his uniform.
It's a certain uniform made of the toughest materials yet easy to move. A gray colored long-sleeved bush coat with shoulder loops, and patch on both sides of the upper arm. In front was a badge on the right side of the chest while the nameplate to the left, and also, below those was a pocket on both sides. Moreover, the pants are black.
Summarizing the details of his uniform. It seems he's a police officer.
"Alright, time to go."
After getting fully prepared, he left the house and rode to his car. And so, he's on his way to work. Driving through the neighborhood with no people around was satisfying to look at. Enjoying the sight as he drove and drove and drove until he reached his work place, the police station.
"Morning."
"Morning."
"Morning."
Once, as he entered the station, his colleagues started greeting him.
"Ah, finally you're here. My back is already hurting from sitting."
"You can leave the spot to me. Oh, by the way, did anything happen today?"
"Nope, it's the same ol' boring day."
"It's that so… it's been peaceful lately, as if the slaughter didn't happen."
"Oh, the murder from house to house two weeks ago? Yeah, that's pretty brutal. A bloodbath happened in a whole street."
"Yeah, and we don't even have any clue on what happened since there are no witnesses. Because of that, we're getting overtime."
"Lucky for you, your shift is in the morning, but for me, i have to patrol the neighborhood late at night."
"So, find anything?"
"Nah, it's really been peaceful."
"Hmm, what kind of people are able to do that without being noticed?"
"A group of maniacs, probably."
"I hope they got caught already."
"Yeah. But still, i hope that i'm not the one who would come across them."
"Hey, is that what the police would say?"
"Even so, it's just my own when patrolling, if they are really in groups, i'm at a disadvantage."
"Why not just call for backup?"
"Even if I do that, i still need to stop them on my own until backup arrives. But i don't want to do that, i do not want to risk my life."
"Wha… Why did you become a police, then?"
"Hey, i can do my job properly, but if my life is in danger. I wouldn't hesitate to ignore my duty and just run."
"...i can't believe you just said that."
"I would say, i value my life more than the others."
"..."
"Oh, i didn't realize i've been here for a while now since my shift was over, so i should go now."
The person left the room. Leaving him behind to take over the spot. Now, he's alone and doing nothing other than staying in a room, waiting for a client/cases or patrolling around the area. Bored on waiting until a telephone rang.
"Police, you call?"
He answered the phone.
"Yes, officer. I need some help."
"Okay, what it might be?"
"Someone's trying to murder me."
"Huh? Where are you right now?! Tell me the place!"
"I'm currently at XXX, the back alley of XXX. Right now, i'm hiding."
"Right, i got the location. Are you still there?"
"Yes."
"So, can you hold on for a little longer until i arrive?"
"Yes, i guess."
"Alright, just stay there. The police will be coming."
After the call ended, he left his spot and prepared his stuff.
"Hey, did something?"
His colleague asked.
"Yeah, i just received a call saying he's being attacked."
"Oh… then, do you need some help?"
"Nah, i could do it myself."
"Okay, but don't be hasty and call for backups if things get out of hand."
"Yeah, i will."
Finally, he's done preparing and left the station. He rode his car on the way there. Despite getting a call from that, he seems a bit calm for a person who received an SOS from someone. He thinks that it's just a prank, since who would kill someone this broad daylight outside. But he doesn't have a choice than to go there, since a report is a report.
After some driving, eventually he arrived in the area. Then goes out of the car, and starts on foot on his way to the specific location.
"Huh? No one's here."
The mentioned place that a murder, supposed to happen, was empty at all. He tried to look around, but still nothing was found.
"Did i get the place wrong? No, i certainly heard, it was right here. Hah, i guess, It's really just a prank."
He thought that the call was just a prank and was about to leave the place until suddenly someone shouts.
"Help!"
"Huh?"
He looked behind to know what it was, and to his surprise it was a student covered in blood and its left arm was gone.
"H…hey kid, wheres the murderer?!"
He asked as he took out his gun.
"She is right behind me!"
He looked behind the student but find nothing
"Where?" He asked again.
"The top!"
He looked up and finally saw someone. However, he can't believe what he's seeing, that the person in white was jumping from roof to roof.
"Why are you just standing there?! Shoot her, Officer!"
The student shouted.
"Ah, right–"
But it's already too late for him, when he's about to raise his gun, his head splits in two out of nowhere.
"Shit, it didn't work again."
The student muttered.
After the cop falls to the ground, the student runs into it and grabs the gun. Then aim at the person chasing him and shoot her.
In the hole of the gun, a loud sound was manifested, and a bullet came out. Even how fast the bullet travels, yet, the person in white able to block it or rather to say she cut it in half.
"What?"
The student was shocked. While he's in that state, the person in white, just one kick in midair, she rushed to him and slashed him to death.
