After a few uneventful hours of travel with a few rests on the way the trio arrived at the first town, unlocked at level 10, as the first of the travelers.

"Well it seems we'll at least have some time till the professionals will arrive" Taida says to nobody in particular "Lets get going now tho I wanna take the best quests for our level before anybody else comes along"
Scarlet nods in agreement still holding little Carl after the long journey "Can we eat first, master? I am quite hungry after all that walking"
"Sorry I got excited. Okay first eat then do the best quest for our current ability range" And with that they set off through the city's gate, wich with the reputation boost is even less problematic then before.
About 45 minutes of eating and asking a few people for the way later they find themselves infront of the adventurers association, wich every city has a brand of for easier quest accessibility
"Master can I choose the quest? I dont wanna go into another scary forest if possible" Scarlet ask with frightened face remembering the shadows that appeared to be moving in the dimly lit forest
"Yeah, sure don't see why not" Taida says nonchalantly "Just try to pick one with good experience gain okay?"
"I think I found a good one master!" Scarlet says a few minutes later "And its not scary at all too!"

'Didn't I say good exp gain? Well she looks happy enough so lets just do it and the commence the grind' Sighing Taida says "Okay lets do it but then we try to clear the nearest dungeon, no matter if its scary or not. Sounds good?"
After a happy nod from scarlet he goes to confirm the quest with the associations reception and then remembers he acctually got a cloak for being the first person to clear a dungeon

And so they said out on what seems to be yet another safe travel session wich turn quite turbulent when they got surprised by an ogre coming out of the forest
"Scarlet if you would?" Taida says with an annoyed sigh hoping to just get the herbs and then complete the dungeon before anybody else can "Or no wait just injure it so carl can het the experience. Maybe hell unlock his bloodline when he gets high enough in level."
"Ok? Im not sure if I can not fatally injure it tho?" Scarlet replies readying a fire arrow "Oh wait! Maybe I can punch it lightly and not kill it that way!"
Carl feeling elated at the prospect of getting stronger started to make happy fox noises while resting on Taidas shoulder
And so after the ogre exploded into blood mist because Scarlet didn't hold back they continued on their way now more annoyed then happy and soon arrived in the area they are supposed to be collecting herbs
