The stairs are spiral, reaching almost fifty feet long. Going down that long would make you exhausted, but I don't feel tired. Is it because of magic?
"Here we are."
After we descended, I caught the interior of the tower. This place is more significant than it looks. A large hall with polished marble white floor and columns holds the beautiful ceiling above with loving painting. On each side of the wall are filled with books. I look around in awe that such a place existed beneath the earth.
"Ah, Master Gideon." A voice had us stop as a small person in a tuxedo approached. "It's good to see you. Look how much you've grown. You turned into a fine young man. Have you mated yet?"
Gideon chuckles as he crouches down. "Good to see you again, Jenkins."
"Oh my," The tiny man steps around as I get the details of his appearance. A small man with almost black beady eyes and giant pointy ears steps in front of me, his head tilt back. "You must be Aneria."
