Chapter 86: Camping Trip Arc (1)

~Third POV~

[Days Later, League of Villains Base, Kamino, Yokohama, Japan]

Days after the I-Island incident have passed with the League of Villains busy with their agendas. Inside the abandoned bar, Tomura, playing with a stack of cards and building a house, spoke up in a raspy tone, "The Master is good. I tried so hard to find out where those idiots were going, and he figured it out in an instant. Guess he showed me up."

On the side Kurogiri cleaning the bar glass cups spoke up in a stoic tone responding to Tomura's comment, "It was worth having a team on standby, then, wasn't it? Tomura Shigaraki."

Tomura merely played with his house of cards before it finally fell on him, responding in a neutral tone, "Hmpg. I guess. Even Master brought in some new toys he got working for those goons he hired."

Tomura recalls that before the incident on I-Island of Wolfram's taking the people hostage, they had someone to steal some of David Shield's equipment while the heist was actively muttering out loud, "Right… the team Master sent someone named Mr. Compress who managed to steal some of the equipment and data before ultimately returning."

*Ding*

Hearing the sounds of the doorbell chimes, Giran appeared as he spoke in a casual tone with his clients, "I heard back from the union today. You can expect a delivery tomorrow. It was thrown together quickly, so it might not look like much. But quality is guaranteed."

Kurogiri apologized for the sudden request as Giran explained to Tomura in an excited tone his plans, taking a whiff of his cigarette, "Tell me, Shigaraki. Do you know why the union accepted this outlandish order of yours? 'Cause everyone's got high expectations of you. If the League of Villains steps into the light, then the scum hiding on the sidelines will follow suit. And if that happens, it means brokers like me win big. We'll be rolling in new customers. Crime pays."

Tomura's eyes lingered on Giran, responding in an obvious tone sarcastically, "Oh, yes. You're gonna be so busy, you won't be able to keep up."

Giran chuckled at Tomura's response responding in returned in a cheerful tone as he left the abandoned bar, "I'm looking forward to that. Anyway, thanks."

Leaving Tomura and Kurogiri, the manchild gazes down at the fallen house of cards as he stoically says his plan, "The board is set with my pawns and their prey. Finally. Time for the real game to begin."

~Ren Y. POV~

[Next Day, U.A. High School, Entrance, Japan]

After everything had been settled with I-Island I, my classmates and I eventually returned to Japan with Melissa in tow, living with All Might as her current guardian. Makes sense considering David is now in jail for a few years while Sam is in a lifetime.

News about it tends to spread fast, and fortunately, it was kept within the I-Island as news of it being infiltrated wouldn't have ended well. But on the upside, the I-Island Board allowed my friends to risk their lives to allow them to freely create their Hero Costumes, their top priority, free of charge.

As for Melissa, she's currently being introduced as a UA Support Course assistant guided by Power Loader. I'm somewhat glad that she's safer here than the future hazing that the people in I-Island would give because of David Shield's actions besmirching their name.

As days went by, it was eventually time to start the 8th Arc of the MHA series. Just like that the curtain closes on our action-packed first semester. Summer break first day of training has begun.

We currently waited outside of the school for the buses to arrive with Aizawa-Sensei saying out loud in a stoic tone for us to hear, "Now that you've finished up your first semester at UA High, it's time for summer vacation to officially begin. However... Don't think these will be months of rest for you heroes-in-the-making. At this camp, we'll push you to go beyond your limits. You're aiming to become Plus Ultra!"

We all replied in an excited tone, "Yes sir!"

With that everyone began to talk freely with each other with Ochaco coming up to me in an excited tone, "I'm so psyched! I've been looking forward to this camp all semester, Ren!"

Grinning with Shinso and Toga by my side listening in, I responded in an equally excited tone, "Yeah! I feel the same way, Ochaco. This is gonna be an exciting Summer Trip let's just hope no villains would come to rain on our parade, though…"

Ochaco laughed nervously, agreeing with Shinso, muttering at my comment with a raised eyebrow, and said in a stoic tone, "With the number of times how this class gets ambushed by villains? I'm starting to believe we have some bad luck."

Toga, on the other hand, jabs a finger at his face, annoying him as she responds in a casual tone, "Eh, it's not that bad. I mean, at least this time, no one would know where we're located this time, so we have nothing to fear!"

Shinso rolled his eyes at her optimism as Ochaco leaned closer to me. Her face suddenly blushed red in her overactive stunts, followed by Mina, Kaminari, and Toga joining, "Uh. Let's hear it for camp! Yeah! Camp! Camp! Camp! Camp!"

That was when Class 1-B came along as Neito Monoma started to cause some kind of drama in an arrogant tone and said, "Wahhh! What? Some class A kids are getting extra lessons? Does that mean some of you failed?! Huh? How weird is that?! Everyone knows Class A is totally superior to Class B, but now this?! Wow – "

*Whak*

That was when a disembodied hand smacked him from behind as one of their classmates from Class 1-B, Setsuna, came to collect him with a grin, "Sorry. He can be quite the handful."

She smiled happily, helping drag the copy kid as Setsuna spoke up with a cheeky grin on her face in a confident tone, "We don't resent you for all that stuff from the sports festival. Glad to be working with you, Class A. I'm Setsuna Tokage, the Class Representee of Class 1-B."

I smiled as I returned her greetings with a light nod, introducing myself in a confident tone, "In that case, nice to meet you. I'm Ren Yuki, the Class Representee of Class 1-A. It will be a pleasure working together during the Summer Training Camp."

She sent me a peace sign as I began to do my duties as Class Rep. The buses soon came over, and I announced to everyone with Momo by my side in a confident tone, "Attention, Class A, our bus is here! Make sure to place your bags and belongings first before entering got it!"

Ida nodded at my means of being professional in handling the situation. Although it's kind of pointless for me because I have my [Sub-Space] skill.

[Later, Bus, Japan]

While we took the ride inside the bus just as I expected everyone was being noisy little brats with Aizawa-Sensei asking them in a defeated tone, "We'll be stopping in about an hour. After that, we'll…"

Yeah… not happening. Not with everyone being so noisy and Ida yelling as I sat next to him.

"Let's have some music! Something summery! Some tube songs, maybe!"

"Seats are meant to be sat in! Sit down, everyone!"

"Gimme some pocky."

"Let's play the I-spy game! I spy a bank!"

"I spy money in the bank!"

"No way, nothing beats Carol's end of summer in the summertime!"

"But it's not the end."

Aizawa merely grumbles back into his driver's seat dealing with us kids. I pity the man dealing with overpowered teenagers who can destroy this bus.

… fuck never mind, he has every right to be annoyed. Regardless, though, I began to open my phone and check on my stocks and the latest video game I created in the app store using my [High Spec], earning me some cash on the side.

Either that or manipulate the stock market. But regardless I made myself a great app developer today that I took full advantage of for my own benefit.

Made a couple of programs here and made sure the system sequence of codes was working, and boom! I got myself a bastardized copy of Among Us and Flappy Bird as I remember the big boom when those two games first appeared ahead of their time, but most important of all, how much money I can get from this.

They are very cursed games but very effective money-makers. And in that short time, I made a shit ton of money using the app games as I saved them when I needed them since I needed the money to get some stuff or materials.

Among Us will generate $86 million on mobile in nearly three years, and I have a lot to gain from it in the future. Flappy Bird was also a gold mine while it lasted and made some generous donations.

Flappy Bird became popular fast, generating 50 million downloads by January 2014, making it one of the top free games on the Android and iOS app stores. The obvious question is – how much did Flappy Bird make?

The game's author claimed that it generated $50,000 a day in in-app advertising. So, I did that strategy, and now I'm slowly but surely becoming one of the wealthiest members of gaming society.

I could only grin at how much I was about to earn in the future. Although I should work to make that Megazord with my power, I mean, it's not every day that someone can summon a giant robot to fight for them, right?

Hehehe…

[1 Hour Later, The Beast Forest, Nagano, Japan]

*THUD*

We finally reached our destination near the cliffside of The Beast Forest in Nagano. The area of the Wild, Wild Pussycats.

When we departed to our resting spot, giving everyone a chance to stretch their legs, Kirishima spoke up in a curious tone, "Huh. This isn't much of a rest area."

That was when Jiro noticed the bus containing Class 1-B wasn't with us muttering out loud in a confused tone, "No. And where's Class B?"

Aizawa soon spoke up as I eyed the other car that was before us in a stoic tone, "Of course, we stopped here for a reason."

*Tmp*

Stepping out from the car revealed two… interesting cat-themed heroines. [Observe].

[Shino Sosaki Lv.30 Rescue Hero

Description: Shino Sosaki, also known as Mandalay, is a Pro Hero and leader of the Wild, Wild Pussycats. Mandalay remains calm and gentle. Even so, she remains just as eccentric and demanding as the rest of her teammates.

Mandalay often shows great concern for others, including her nephew Kota, as well as the students from U.A. High. Despite being genuinely caring, Mandalay is not above poking fun at others' expense. Her Quirk [Telepath] allows her to utilize mental transmission and send telepathic messages directly into people's minds. Shino has displayed the ability to send a message to tens of people at a time. She can send messages, but she can't receive them.]

[Ryuko Tsuchikawa Lv.35 Rescue Hero

Description: Ryuko Tsuchikawa, also known as Pixie-Bob, is a Pro Hero and a member of the Wild, Wild Pussycats. Ryuko is a very hyperactive and loud person with little regard for how she may come off to other people.

She is very self-conscious about her age and is in a rush to find love, and her impatience has only grown worse over the years. Ryuko seems to have a fondness for young, promising heroes and is unafraid to display it. Ryuko's Quirk [Earth Flow] allows her to freely manipulate the earth for a variety of effects.]

The first one is Mandalay a young woman with brown eyes and red hair styled into three bangs going across her face. Mandalay wears a red version of the Pussycat's hero costumes and as part of her costume, she draws red markings beneath her eyes, which resemble cat whiskers.

The second is Ryuko a woman with blue eyes, and long blonde hair that's mostly combed back save for her bangs. Pixie-Bob wears a light blue version of the Pussycat's hero costume. She draws two blue dots on her cheeks whenever she wears it. Her costume also includes a tinted visor that she uses with her Quirk.

That was when Mandalay responded in a cheerful tone, greeting an old friend, "Heya, Eraser!!"

Aizawa responded back to the feline heroines in a stoic tone, "Sorry. Haven't seen you in a while."

At that moment, they both began their hero team chant and struck their poses, trying… to do something with us, "Rock on with these sparking gazes! Stingingly cute and catlike! We're the Wild, Wild… Pussycats!!"

Aizawa spoke up, having a part of himself dying as he introduced them to his students in an unsure tone, gazing at them, "These are the Pro Heroes who'll be helping us out this time…. The Pussycats. They're pros you'll be working with at the Summer Training camp. Everyone, say hello."

Everyone greeted them as I saw the kid on the sidelines, "Hello! Nice to meet you!"

Mandalay soon spoke up pointing towards the mountain range of The Beast Forest in a proud tone, "We own this whole stretch of land out here. Everything you can see. This is The Beast Forest and the summer camp you're staying at is there at the base of the mountain."

Everyone soon asked the questions as I turned to the bus, with Ochaco stating the obvious, "Then why did we stop all the way up here instead?"

Asui stated the obvious answer, making everyone nervous with her response, "I'm afraid we both know the answer to that."

Kendo shook her head with a bead of sweat, fearing the answer, "That can't be right."

Sero laughed nervously as everyone looked to see the bus as he spoke up, "Haha… Um. Back on the bus. Quick. Let's go."

Everyone had the same idea till Mandalay spoke up in a mischievous tone clasping her hands together, "The current time is 9:30 in the morning. If you're fast about it, you might make it there by noon."

I snapped my fingers using my Quirk [Wormhole] to open a portal, "If you guys – "

[Ding!]

[Your quirk [All in One] has been temporarily nullified!]

[Due to your [All in One] having been nullified your Quirks are no longer available!]

[Your Quirk [One for All] has been temporarily nullified!]

My voice was cut dry with Aizawa chiming in with a smug expression on his face, exclaiming with his [Erasure] active on me, "Don't worry, problem, child. We at UA treat everyone equally as equals. Even in equal hardship. That's why I'll say this in advance: you have to get there by going through the forest don't and I'll kick you out of the Summer Training Camp."

Oh, that son of a bitch!

This is admin abuse! Please, someone, stop this man!!

Before I could do anything, the ground beneath us rumbled as Mandalay spoke in a mischievous tone, "Kitties who don't make it there by 12:30 won't get any lunch!"

*RMBL*

"Back to the bus, Quick!"

"Aw, crud…"

"No way…"

"Run!"

*SLAM*

*FOOM*

Too late! The ground beneath us tossed us over the cliffside with Aizawa yelling in a stoic tone, "The training's already begun."

Oh, I hate that damn teacher!! What kind of madman would toss children off a cliff into a monster-infested forest?!
