I start to become conscious as the sun starts to shine into my eyes, I didn't want to wake up but I knew that I had to get up and start to get things going. I reach over and nudge Charlotte awake, as soon as I see her awake I turn over to wake up Daniel but to my surprise, he's already awake, keeping me in his grasp. I smile "We need to start packing and figure out what happened." he and I both get up and turn to Charlotte whos rubbing her head " Are you ok, what happened?" she stops and looks at me "I'm fine for now, and honestly I think I hit a barrier of sorts." we hear a flapping "That you did, you know I have sat here waiting for you guys to wake up, you people sleep forever." We all are immediately on guard and ready to attack "Don't worry I won't hurt you unless I have reason to." we stand down but are still fairly guarded. "Who are you, and why are you here?" he lands finally "I'm Hailey, my mother sent me here before I turned eighteen." he gives a blank stare "If your mother sent you here it was probably because she was one of us or she was trying to kill us. Tell me do you have draconic wings?" I unfurl my wings "Not only are you one of us but your Elizabeth's daughter!" I look at him shocked "How do you know my mother and how can you tell that I'm her daughter?" he walks over to me examining my wings. "Your mom was the queen and only royals have this color of wings." I look over at Daniel who looks just as shocked as I am "Come we need to get you into proper clothes, you can come back for your friends after but for now, we need to clean you up." he starts to fly and I follow shortly after, he soon stops and casts a spell, he keeps flying until we see this huge floating island with what seems like an even bigger town. The man lands and shouts "Cara open the gate I have found the queen's heir!" the gate opens and out comes a woman with long dark brown hair. "Is this the queen's daughter Greg?" he nods and she examines my wings "Oh my gosh, it is, we need to tell everyone right away!" he looks at her "I'm having her wash up then bringing her friends, after that, we can tell everyone." she looks somewhat disappointed but immediately puts a smile back on her face "Ok, let's go!" she takes off inside and me and the guy follow. We make it to this huge castle and they take me to what I assume to be my room. "Greg I'll help her pick out her dress, could you draw her a bath?" he looks at her then leaves "Now, what is your favorite color, it'll help with the decision," she says as she opens the closet door to reveal a room big enough to be another bedroom. "Woah…my favorite color is purple." I finally say "Great!" she runs into the closet and I follow, all of the dresses are color-coded which helped a lot when looking for the dresses. Eventually, Cara finds a few dresses that I might like and has me try them on, I choose a dress with gems along the top going down to the sparkly lace bottom. We take the dress back into my bedroom and lay it on my bed, right then Greg walks in. "Your bath is ready." he and Cara walk out of the bedroom and I change out of my clothing and I head into the bathroom. I quickly take a bath and put on the dress, and walk out to meet with my friends. Daniel stares at me in utter astonishment "You… you're absolutely beautiful." I smile "Thank you, I have to bring you up myself." he blushes a bit "How I'm kind of heavy." I walk up to him "I'll figure that out as I fly, now get on my back that will be the easiest way to carry you." he climbs onto my back and I take off as Charlotte follows. I take them up to the gate and Daniel gets down. We're eventually greeted by Cara and Greg who take us to the center of the town. "Everyone gather around, we have a wonderful announcement." Greg comes and whispers in my ear "Once we tell them that you are queen Elizabeth's daughter open your wings, ok." I nod my head and he turns around. "We have finally found our new leader, we found the queen's daughter." I open my wings and I hear gasps and murmurs. "The queen has returned, we will hold her coronation next week!" The crowd cheers and starts to disappear. We stand there until there is no longer a crowd and we head toward the castle. "So is he your boyfriend?" Cara asks, I blush and he answers for me "Yes, yes I am." I look at him and smile. We get to the castle and Greg takes Daniel to get washed up and get him some new clothes as Cara takes me to my room. "Do you want the drake to stay in your room?" I look at Charlotte knowing she prefers the outdoors "I don't mind staying, but I would prefer to sleep outside." Charlotte says looking at Cara "I will make an area for you then." she takes Charlotte outside leaving me alone. I head into my room extremely tired and lay down on the extremely comfortable bed.
