I came out of Xavier's bed chamber hastily. I did not want him to panic. However, the voices inside my head and Lady Athanasia's past memory had already started building webs of uneasiness inside my mind. Finally, my hair turning silver had pushed me to my limit already.
I exhaled deeply, standing on the balcony. Even if Lady Athanasia was attempting to conquer my body, only part of her soul was within me. It was still weak.
"There must be a way to stop this transformation," I mumbled worriedly. I clenched the knife I had taken with me before leaving Xavier's bed chamber.
Then, I placed it on my hair, which had already turned silver. I attempted to cut my hair when someone grabbed my wrist tightly. I immediately turned and came face to face with Arendt.
"What are you doing?" Arendt asked calmly. His grip didn't loosen a bit on my wrist.
"What do you think you are doing?" I asked him coldly.
