I was continuously biting my lower lip while staring at the garnet invitation letter from the elders' palace. My name written in jasmine white was glowing on the card.
"What do they want now?" I murmured, frowning.
"As the new Empress, you must show your greetings to the elderly palace, My Lady," Lydia said while placing the sapphire hair clip in my bun.
"But the Lord has left early in the morning. Should I go alone?" I murmured worriedly.
"You can ask Prince Edrik to accompany you. He has been reflecting on his actions lately. I believe it will be an opportunity to melt the ice between His Majesty and Prince Edrik," Lydia said.
I glanced at her face. She suddenly realized and bowed right away, "Forgive me, My Lady. I went ahead with my words."
I exhaled deeply and stared at the mirror, "Your words are not expendable. Prince Edrik can prove to the Lord that he meant no harm to me."
