Chapter 1 - The Grandson of the great Sage [ Chapter 01 "the reincarnated demon"] [ 1st Arc 'being Omnipotent under a cave'

it's dark, it's lonely...where am.. i?

I blink at the darkness, the only light coming from my eyes. I look around but I'm too disoriented to find the source of that light.

Why can't i see anything?

The last thing I remember was my brother stabbing me and then I died....

I don't even know where am I

anymore!

Suddenly, a bright light shines on me. The glare stings my eyes as they are adjusting to the sudden brightness.

"Finally awake huh kid?" A voice asks.

I slowly open my eyes. Everything looks so new and unknown...I try moving and wince. It hurts like hell to move and I have no idea why.

I sit up, wincing slightly. I feel myself trembling. My hands are shaking violently and I feel cold. Why do i feel this way?

Where am i...?

The question keeps echoing over and over in my mind. Who am i? Where did i come from?

A warm hand grabs mine. I flinch back. That voice...it sounded familiar.

Slowly, the man who was holding my hand comes into view. He looked very old; his hair long and greying and his beard and mustache long and white. He had a kind face. But his eyes were sharp. He's looking at me intently.

He smiled down at me, his smile making my heart skip a beat.

"Welcome to your new home." He said softly. I could hear the happiness in his voice.

Home? What do you mean by that?! Where did i come from?! Who are you?! Who are these people I'm with?

"Who are you?!" I demanded, trying to get away from him.

His smile falters for a second before going back to how it was. "My name is Fujimoto shigemori ," he says kindly. "And you're my grandson. Now come along, we'll introduce you to everyone else." His warm grip doesn't loosen and he pulls me to my feet.

I shake my head in protest. "Let go!" I growl.

I take a step forward and he immediately let's go of my hand.

I freeze in place as all my surroundings suddenly become much more clear to me. I see a huge room filled to the brim with different types of monsters, all fighting each other and destroying everything in their path. All the furniture has been thrown about, chairs torn apart, broken windows smashed, tables overturned. The place is a complete disaster zone. It reminds me of some kind of war or something. The air feels heavy and I can't help but feel scared.

I don't want to be here! I don't want to stay here with these strange people. They probably hate me or just don' wanna hang out with their weird grandpa.

"Come on, now I'd rather not spend the rest of the day alone with these strangers. Come with me." Shigemori grabs my shoulders firmly and begins guiding me through the chaos.

I struggle weakly against his grip but soon stop as a strange scent catches my attention. There's something strangely familiar about this smell. It smells similar to the smell of a flower after rain. Like a springtime flower. It's very strong, almost overpowering, but somehow comforting at the same time. It makes me realize there' s something familiar about this scent. It gives me an unexplainable feeling of peace.

As we walk deeper and deeper into the castle I begin to relax a little bit. The more we pass through the castle the stranger the smell gets. It's starting to drive me crazy.

The castle goes down a few levels, getting lower and lower until we finally reach a door at the very bottom of the basement. I'm shocked to see what's beyond it. It's like a whole floor built off from the rest of the tower. There are several bookshelves, some stacked high, and one desk that seems to contain many papers spread across it.

I take a deep breath as I watch the large doors swing open. The moment the door opens, an unfamiliar yet very comfortable scent hits me. It's sweet. It fills my senses. And it's coming from... a.. fruit basket!? On the desk!?

I take two hesitant steps inside and my eyes widen when I notice there's an orange in front of the desk. Orange. In the middle of a bunch of papers. A big chunk of paper has been pulled aside and is currently being used to hide the Orange. I take a bite of it and as surprising the Orange was it had no taste at all, not even any juice. I chew the fruit a couple more times, but nothing changes.

I turn toward the window where Shigemori stood, watching me silently.

I put the piece of orange in my mouth and stare him straight in the eye. I swallow slowly and ask "What is that?" " that is the 'Legendary Fruit of Omnipotent' it has only one purpose to give you the power of gaining knowledge of history, present and future." he tells me as though I should've known this already. I look at him like he's nuts.

"No offense, but I kinda thought you'd be more of an ancient wizard." I say with raised eyebrows.

Shigemori chuckles lightly. "I am .
