Hua Jinyan had just disembarked from the plane when he was followed by a sticky little shadow trying to get close to him.
Hua Jinyan walked briskly forward, trying to put some distance between them.
The man following behind walked up to Director Hua, smiling as he greeted him, "Sorry, I didn't understand the situation before."
"It's no problem; it's understandable to lose one's reason when it concerns children," Director Hua responded mildly.
"The two kids seemed very close," the man made conversation for the sake of it.
Director Hua glanced at him with a look full of skepticism as if asking: Close? Are you blind?
The man felt extremely awkward under his gaze, managing to squeeze out a smile: "In the restroom, older girls were bullying her, and it was your son who called the security guards to rescue her."
Director Hua was somewhat surprised.
