Zel told president Wil that he will create a barrier for the city but it will be in the alias of Crow , the president was first surprised as it was not easy to create a barrier so big for the entire city .
The main city also has mana barrier but as it consume mana stones and mana crystals in large quantities ,the barrier are usually use as last resort because it is very mana consuming .
The president of Awakeners Association bowed his head as they really needed the help but Zel quickly held him up before he could finish bowing his head .
Zel ," President Wil You don't have to do this , this city is my home to and I also have some responsibilities to protect it but I could do it openly as it might effect my family so I'm going to do in my own ways".
President Wil deeply look at Zel and said " Thank you " .
After taking for some time Zel return back but before he returned back to his position as all of the were given a position to defend the city gate, he use his clone skill to clone himself which will act as the crow .
Zel when to the position where his sister's lily and Mary were waiting for him , this was a city level threat so all the awakeners were needed including the retired awakeners , most redirect wanted to help the city even if it's for little help they could.
The young children and retired awakeners were not ask to guard the front of the gate but they were position inside the gate for any monster that were able to come in .
Zel brought Lily and Mary on the frontline to let them experience what a real battlefield is like ,he did not worry about them because they were powerful but the two girl have less experienced than other so it was better for them to experience it first hand as he has already decided to train them.
All the people in the front line were nervous, afraid , scared etc looking at the open ground that was infront of the forest , the leader's and vice leader of various guild and mercenary had a solemn face , they knew it was going to be a tough battle if there were no help from the reinforcement .
The leaders and vice leader were looking at the forest when they felt a strong aura from the top of the gate ,they all look at the top .
On the top of the gate there was a person with black dress ,a feathery cloak with a crow mask with four red eyes , crow turn his head towards the leaders position as he could feel their gaze on him.
Crow did not say anything to them he simply look at them and turn his head infront , he raised his right hand in the sky .
On top of his right hand large number of mana was coming together making a circular glass shape and the mana gathering was becoming more and more powerful by every second .
Seeing this the leaders of various guild thought that he was either going to attack them or the monster .
As the leaders were not sure why the crow mask person was gathered so much mana , they all took a defence stands as only some few people saw him on the day of the calamity class incident ,and even on that day they did not talk much so they were not sure if he was an enemy or friend.
When they were going to attack , president Wil came on their side and said that the crow mask person was helping them and the city by making a barrier .
When the leaders and vice leader heard it they were suprise as president Wil was when he first heard it as they all know how hard it was but they were also happy and thankful because now they can fight without worrying about the people inside the gate.
Crow who was gathered mana from both himself and the surrounding look at the circular glass shape on his right hand, he knows that he has gather enough mana from the surrounding , he slowly expand the barrier on top his right hand .
The circular glass shape was the mana barrier but in a larger version it slowly expanded becoming bigger and bigger , Crow looking at the growing glass ball ,he lightly push the glass ball which slowly floated into the air towards the middle of the city after reaching it.
Crow control it to expand and slowly it covered the entire city J , the process took around 30 minutes , after the barrier was made all the people could see a bubble like barrier on all the side of the city .
Outside the gate the leaders saw a thin like glass wall in a circle ,covering the whole city , all the awakeners were suprise at first but after looking at the thin barrier they were doubtful of it as it look too thin that it might break at any moment.
Looking at the people Crow knew what they were thinking so he ask president Wil with his telepathy to tell them to try the barrier with their full strength and also for the president Wil to try.
President Wil thought for a moment and he told other that he will test it first.
President Wil use his long sword with half of his power to hit it .
With a big bang he hit the barrier but the barrier was perfectly fine , he got curious and use his full power to hit it .
President Wil use his skill earth shattering slash on the barrier and again with a big light and sound it her the barrier , after he finishes his attack he check the barrier .
The barrier was still as stable as a mountain and no scratches were even found , after it he told other to try it .
Many leaders tried but non of them could even leave a small mark in it , after checking the durability of the barrier they breath in relieve.
While the people were waiting for the monster wave they suddenly feel the ground trembling , they all quickly look at the forest . They saw many eyes glowing inside the forest and slowly the monster come out of the forest .
Monster were such as dire wolf, mad rhino , crystal Amour Bear, earth lizard ,
fire fox , black skin lion , four horn sheep , blue colour snake , coiling viper,
berserker buffalo ,blade claw monkey etc .
There were many low rank monster with some high level monster leading it . The
number of the monster is around nearly five thousand, the main leader is the white fox which was way in the back under the white fox were 3 calamity class and 8 disasters class leading the monster.
Not only the awakeners were shock but also the soldiers who were there to help and protect the city were suprise and shock , although the soldiers were mostly regular people with Neo weapon such as mana guns and mana base weapon which were effective against low level monster they know that they would only be of little help.
Even though the soldiers knows it ,they still have their duties to protect the city and soldiers of any place or era they would do whatever it take to protect their country or city if it was attack.
That is way there are still many common people who respect them and join them , even awakeners respect the soldiers who do everything thing for the people without asking anything for them.
President Wil had already talk with the soldiers that the soldiers will first kill the monster with their Neo weapon after the monster enter the range of the Neo weapon, the awakeners such as Archer , mage and gunner will also help them kill the monster as many as they can.
After the monster reach a certain meters away from the gate the melee awakeners will deal with it .
The monsters after seeing the people roar loudly and started running towards the people , as the monster was 50 meters away from the gate , the mana canon and mana machine gun which shots 100 bullet started to fire one after another .
The canon hit a group of low rank dire wolf and it obliterated the dire wolf , the machine gun Peirce many holes on the body's of low rank monster as paper killing it on the spot.
The range awakeners were also not idel
as they also use magic , magic arrow and magic bullet to kill monster that have escaped as well as the monster coming.
The front of the gate was in choas , there were many explosion and gun sound firing towards monster and many monster bodies were lying stacking up, with many monster bits of flesh and bones were flying and lying on the ground but these things did not stop the monster rather it angered them and the monster became crazy and mad.
While the monster were attacking city J , the government in the main city W started to send some to elite awakeners soldiers to help them they were all powerful leading by an SS rank awakener.
On the other side, the chosen Kings society held a secret meeting ,the dragons person look at the people on the screen and said the government had sent some of their elite to help city J and half of their elite are on some secret mission they will not be able return fast so now is the time to attack the flame guild .
I also checked and verify that most of the elite of flame guild including the guild leader Grant are raiding an SS rank dungeon on the the blue mountains so this it the best chance we get to scar flame guild who spoil many of our plan to conquer the main city W, get all your elite ready to move out .
