I stand up and straighten my hair and my blazer and then get in the boardroom. They are all waiting for me.
She has rusted me above all these men in this room, she has seen a leader and so a leader I shall be. I sit down in my chair and I can feel their eyes on me, except for Norman who is looking down, seemingly sad and I am guessing it's all because of the talk we had.
I clear my throat and look each and everyone in the eye. "Let's continue."
"These," Carl pushes some documents to me. "Are for you to sign. They are the establishments' papers, all of them."
I peruse all of them as I look at the papers. "How many are there?"
"Three in New Orleans, one in New York and one in Chicago, so five in total," Carl answers and I nod.
"Who is the manager in all the five of them? Is there an overall general manager or how is the chain of command there?" I ask them.
