We check into a hotel in New York and Madame gets to rest before I have to take her to the hospital.
I go down to the bar to get a drink because this is really making my stomach flip and I cannot have the jitters and be nervous. On the inside that it, because from the outside, I am the epitome of calmness.
I order a cocktail and sit on the bar, sipping it slowly. Business men and women mingle in the bar. Its not so packed but you can see the people here are mostly out of towners with the locals catching up and doing other things too like having a little fun before they can see each other until next time the other is in town.
