I wasn't so sure that she would come.
She was one stubborn woman, strong headed and I might love her for it but right now, for some reason, I can't keep still. I am always in control of my emotions but tonight they are all over the place.
Something is not right.
I pick up my phone and dial the office telephone and a woman I am not familiar with picks up.
"Where is she?" I ask with hardness in my tone as I can already guess where I am getting the antsiness from.
"She didn't say much but she should be back by now, if you just wait I will look-"
The woman was trying to stall me and she didn't want to give me any information. I don't have time for this right now. If she is in trouble, she needs me right now.
