A knock on the door jolts me awake.
The person knocking does so insistently and I groan, my eyes still closed. I fell asleep on the tub, the water is soaking me, my whole body.
I feel the tiredness when I stand up, and my head is still aching. The knock is so much louder and I actually notice that it's coming from the adjacent door.
Fuck.
I don't want to see him right now. This is not something I want to face or even talk about right now. I look at my watch and I realize its past ten in the morning. I don't know when we were supposed to meet with the mafia guys, but I know I will be out of shape if it's right now.
"I know you are standing there, just open up," Cory talks from the other side of the door and I lean on the door, closing my eyes and groaning softly.
