"Norman at that time knew that he was gay and he was seeing someone on the side as well," she continues.
"Why do you say someone on the side?" I ask her.
She is quiet and then she sighs as if she is contemplating telling me this. "Because the man was a married man. But he was gay and the wife didn't know that."
They both lived interesting lives. "Did he know at the time they were together or the man didn't tell him?"
"Norman met him at a wedding, his wedding. The man was getting married to his wife and I was there with my first husband, of course this was a very dramatic relationship, in regards to how they met."
"At his own wedding? How scandalous!" I exclaim.
