Chapter 46 - Part 46

Rindi packed her clothes, and the event in this village was over. Early tomorrow morning they will return to Seoul. Rindi remembered her husband who still had no news. Rindi stopped packing her clothes and then grabbed her cell phone from the table.

Rindi sat on the edge of the bed and then turned on the screen of her cell phone. It turned out that there was no notification of any kind there.

"He always forgets me when he's busy working," Rindi and then took a breath.

"Rin, let's have dinner."

Nana's voice suddenly opening the bedroom door startled Rindi. Rindi's head reflexively looked towards the door. Nana noticed Rindi's surprised expression.

"Oops, miane." Nana cupped her hands apologetically.

Rindi smiled faintly and then stood up. He put his phone back on the table. Then walked over to Nana.

"Come on! Let's have dinner now," said Rindi, then took Nana out of the room.

Rindi and Nana enjoy dinner with Victor and his grandmother. The four of them were engrossed in eating while chatting, occasionally they also laughed softly. I don't know what makes them so happy.

After dinner, Rindi and Nana sat in the garden together. They were engrossed in discussing the final exams they were about to pass. Nana leaned against the spoiled Rindi's shoulder. As usual, Rindi is the most comfortable place to lean.

"You know, Rin. You're the only closest friend to me. During high school, I never had friends," Nana said.

"You are also the only friend I have in Korea, Na. If only I didn't know you, maybe I would have trouble finding other friends," said Rindi.

Nana nodded her head in agreement. Maybe it was fate that the two of them met in Korea.

"Soon we graduate, you will be busy taking care of Fano and Baby Yoon. Then what will I do?" Nana asked confused about her future life.

"Why so confused? You can help me at my music school, Na."

Victor's voice suddenly sounded from behind. The two women then turned quickly to the source of Victor's voice.

"Ya! Could it be like a ghost suddenly came and made a sound like that," protested Nana annoyed.

Victor laughed at Nana's current facial expression. He is always happy with Nana's attitude which is always a mood booster for him. Victor then sat right next to Rindi and handed him two glasses of warm chocolate that he had brought along.

"Drink! This can make you both relax and sleep better tonight," said Victor.

"Thank you, Vic. You always take good care of me," Rindi very gratefully.

Even though Rindi is not Victor's family. But the man who is much older than Rindi always treats Rindi like his own family.

"Don't be shy, you are wife, Stefano Hyung. Which means you are, my Noona," said Victor then smiled.

Rindi chuckled then patted Victor's shoulder lightly. Nana grabbed the hand of Victor who was sitting across from her.

"Ya! That's right I can take care of your music school. Don't break your promise ok? I recorded it in my mind and heart," said Nana who felt a little ignored by both of them.

Victor laughed then nodded his head. Of course, Victor wasn't kidding, he needed a friend to take care of his music school.

"Assa! I've found a job, Rin. You have to be a witness if at any time this famous man breaks his promise," Nana said enthusiastically while patting Rindi's shoulder.

Rindi nodded her head in agreement.

"He won't break his promise, you're the mood booster, Na."

Victor and Nana both glared at Rindi making fun of what Victor said yesterday. Victor's face immediately flushed with embarrassment, while Nana glanced at Victor and then cleared his throat in embarrassment.

Stefano pressed his apartment password. After that, the workaholic man entered the house. The lights automatically turned on when Fano entered his apartment. Fano said hello and then called Rindi's name.

Fano's brow furrowed in confusion as to why Rindi didn't answer her greetings and calls.

"Is she asleep?" Fano asked in a monologue.

Stefano immediately walked to the room and opened the door. But empty, Fano's brow furrowed in confusion. A second later Fano hit himself on the forehead quite hard.

"How can I forget, isn't Rindi in Victor's hometown," Stefano said, blaming himself.

Fano then cursed himself. Remembering these few days he didn't even call Rindi at all. Fano immediately looked for his cell phone, in his jacket pocket. Fano increasingly blamed himself when he saw the many calls and messages from Rindi.

"You're forgetting your wife again, Chan."

Stefano blamed himself and immediately called Rindi now. Waited a few minutes, but there was no answer from his wife. Fano hung up and switched to calling Victor.

"Eo Hyung, what's wrong?" asked Victor on the other side.

"Where's Rindi? She's healthy right? Why didn't she pick up my call?" Fano asked in succession.

Victor laughed on the other end at Stefano's panicked voice.

"Don't laugh, Vic. Where is Rindi now?" Fano asked again annoyed.

"She's sleeping, Hyung. We're already on our way home, we'll be there in a minute," said Victor who glanced at Rindi who was sleeping in the back seat with Nana later.

Stefano let out a sigh of relief. Victor was restraining himself from laughing again. He understood that by now, Fano must be panicking.

"Okay, I'll wait at home," continued Fano again.

A few seconds later Fano hung up the phone and heaved a sigh of relief. Fano went into the room and put her backpack on the floor. Fano plopped down on the bed.

Fano rubbed his face gently. He was blaming himself. Every time he is busy at work, why does he always forget about Rindi? Now his wife is also pregnant which is a bit risky. He's always been indifferent these days.

"My workaholic nature causes problems. What if Rindi gets angry later," Fano muttered in a monologue.

Rindi just entered the house. She saw Fano sleeping curled up on the sofa. Maybe because he was too tired, Fano's intention to wait for Rindi to come home ended up sleeping on the sofa.

Rindi smiled faintly then put her bag on the floor. Rindi walked and sat on the floor looking at her husband. It had been several days since he had last seen Stefano's face. Rindi missed Fano so much.

"You must be exhausted, huh? You fell asleep on the sofa," Rindi said softly rubbing Fano's mane.

"I miss you so much, Chan," continued Rindi in Indonesian.

A language that Rindi has not used for a long time. Only when calling her family, she uses that language. Rindi sighed and then moved from her place, Rindi walked into the room with her bag as well.

Not long Rindi came back out with a blanket. Rindi is too sorry to wake her husband. It's also late at night, better let Fano sleep on the couch instead.

Fano put his arm around Rindi's waist, who was stirring the porridge. Fano then leaned his head against Rindi's back in a very uncomfortable position because of the height difference.

"Rin, are you angry? Sorry, I was too busy so I forgot about you again," said Fano hoarsely, still waking up.

Rindi who smiled suddenly hugged from behind and then frowned. Rindi turned off the stove and turned to Fano. Stefano let go of his arms and looked at Rindi with a confused face just waking up. Rindi held back her laughter and cupped her husband's cheeks gently.

"Why think I'm angry? I'm not angry with you, I already know you very well. If you are late for work, you will forget everything, including me," said Rindi understanding Stefano's habits.

"Then why did you let me sleep on the sofa? That's my punishment for forgetting you? Yes?" Fano asked again with a slightly spoiled tone.

Rindi laughed and then hugged her husband suddenly. The longing she felt was so stifling, that Rindi liked hugging Stefano without him letting go again.

Fano was surprised because suddenly his wife hugged him tightly. Fano hugs Rindi tightly.

"I miss you, Chan. Sorry to let you sleep on the sofa, you are too tired so sleep very soundly. I couldn't possibly wake you up," Rindi said later.

Stefano's face turned red when he heard Rindi say she missed him. He was so nervous, Stefano cleared his throat several times to dispel him. Rindi looked up and laughed a little when she saw her husband's face blushing shyly.
