Chapter 37 - Part 37

Since yesterday after catching Bang Hyu Sik angry at her husband. Rindi was more silent, instead of asking what was on her mind. Rindi chose silence and kept it to herself. She hoped that Stefano would tell her everything without being asked.

Stefano glanced at Rindi who was sitting next to him silently. His eyes focused on tonight's television program, Stefano cleared his throat to distract Rindi.

"You're angry?" Stefano asked when Rindi was already looking at him.

Rindi shook her head slowly, then turned her gaze back to the television. Stefano scowled and shook Rindi's hand excitedly.

"What is it, Chan?" Rindi asked a little uncomfortable.

"If you're not angry, there's no way you can ignore me like now," Stefano said again justifying his thoughts.

Rindi stared at Stefano closely at this time, She sighed softly. There was a little feeling of disappointment in Stefano, why her husband didn't want to be honest and tell the truth even though Rindi was waiting for an explanation from Stefano.

"Ok, ok, I admit that I was wrong, from the start I was not honest about the problem with Bang Hyu Sik PD nim. But not completely I lied, my contract was finished with the company," Stefano said looking for justification.

Again Rindi just sighed in response to Stefano's words and continued to stare at Fano closely.

"I didn't tell them their threats because I was 100% sure you would leave me," Stefano continued.

Rindi widened her eyes at Fano, why did her husband think like that? Even though everything can be adequately discussed and not necessarily Rindi will leave Stefano just like that.

"I know you, Rin. You will choose my happiness regardless of whether it will hurt you or not. Bang Hyu Sik PD nim, threatened to make rumors about our contract marriage. If you had known all that beforehand then you would happily leave me right? Because You believe my career as a music producer is more important, but to me, you are more important than anything else."

"I can give up my job, but I can never let go of you, Rin."

Stefano explained all that was on his mind and his conjecture, while Rindi was speechless and just looked at Stefano with teary eyes. She never knew that Stefano would be this in love with her, for her to have Stefano was a dream come true. Rindi moved from her seat and then hugged the spoiled Stefano, Stefano was choked by Rindi's behavior.

"Thank you for defending me," Rindi said while hiding her head in Stefano's chest.

Stefano smiled and then rubbed Rindi's head, He nodded his head in agreement with Rindi's words. Of course, he maintains Rindi in his way, Stefano loves Rindi and doesn't want to lose his wife again.

Stefano is cooking in the kitchen of his apartment, Rindi this morning went to campus this. This is her last year so Rindi is just getting busier. Not to mention that the freelance work that Rindi took was also a bit time-consuming. Stefano, who happened to have just returned from overseas service with Jay, decided not to go to the office. He wants to take care of the house instead of Rindi.

Fano has always loved to cook since he was an idol. He and Jay took care of the food for all the members. Especially now that he cooks for his wife, the smile never leaves Stefano's lips. The icy-cold man continued to melt as time passed. There is no longer Stefano who is talkative and cold at home.

Elsewhere, Rindi just finished her class today. Rindi who feels tired today looks very sluggish, especially her stomach which has been cramping several times making her look even paler. Nana who was walking beside Rindi could see that her best friend was not feeling well.

"Hey, are you all right?" asked Nana who then took Rindi.

Rindi's head turned to Nana, then she shook her head slowly.

"I'm just tired, I want to go home and rest," said Rindi, holding her stomach which was cramping again.

Rindi winced at the pain that felt like her stomach was being squeezed at this moment. Nana frowned at Rindi's expression.

"Why? Is anyone sick? We need to go to the hospital?" Nana asked frantically seeing Rindi's expression of pain.

Rindi was still trying to smile, shaking her head in refusal. Rindi then wrapped her arms around Nana's arms.

"Let's just go home, I just need a break," said Rindi later.

After parting with Nana at the bus stop earlier, Rindi slowly walked alone to the apartment where she lived. Now and then Rindi holds her stomach again.

"What's wrong with my stomach," Rindi said in a monologue while holding her stomach.

Rindi's phone ringing made her stop walking. Rindi took a deep breath to dispel the pain in her stomach. Rindi took her cell phone from her pants pocket, then immediately pressed the accept button without seeing who called her.

"Yes, hello," said Rindi slowly.

"Rindi, this is Eomma. Where are you now? Eomma is heading to the apartment with Appa."

There was a crisp and enthusiastic voice from Rindi's mother-in-law. To extent that Rindi was silent because she was surprised that it was her mother-in-law who called.

"Rindy_ya?" Call Ms. Stefano again.

"Oh,,, yes Eommonim sorry, I'm walking into ..."

Not yet finished Rindi continued her words, she saw 2 people she knew very well even though only behind her back.

"I see you, Eommonim," said Rindi with a smile.

Hearing Rindi, Stefano's mother turned around and looked back. Sure enough, her daughter-in-law was behind her now, Rindi waved her hand and then jogged after her in-laws.

"Hey, hey, don't run," screamed Rindi's mother-in-law panicked.

Rindi's brow furrowed in confusion, why she was forbidden to run? After being close, Rindi immediately caught the hands of her mother-in-law and father-in-law in turn. Rindi kissed the back of their hands gently.

Rindi and her two in-laws finally walked together toward the apartment. Rindi went straight to the kitchen and would prepare tea for her in-laws. Rindi was surprised when she saw the dining table was full of food. Rindi turned to Stefano who was peeling fruit on one of the chairs at the dining table.

"You cook? You should just rest, you just came back from out of town, you know," said Rindi, feeling a little uncomfortable because her husband had to cook dinner.

Coincidentally, she didn't cook, because before she left for the campus, she only ate bread. When Stefano came home after lunchtime, it was certain that his husband was eating out.

"It's okay, I'm not busy either. It's okay once in a while," said Stefano

Rindi took a deep breath and then nodded in agreement. Rindi then went to the kitchen to make tea.

Now the four people are sitting in the tv room. Rindi's mother-in-law then sat closer to Rindi.

"Rin, I have good news. Last night I dreamed of beautiful flowers surrounding your apartment. I'm sure you must be pregnant by now."

Rindi's mother-in-law said quickly and enthusiastically. Rindi and Stefano widened their eyes in surprise, why did dreaming like that could make their mother believe that Rindi was pregnant?

"In Korea, if a mother dreams of flowers or fruits, there must be a family member who is pregnant," Stefano's father said, adding to Rindi and Stefano's confused and surprised expressions.

"Appa, Eomma, how can you be so sure? It's not you who are pregnant with Rindi."

Stefano reacted and then snorted softly not believing what he was hearing at this moment. Rindi herself was silent and seemed to be thinking. Maybe it's true what the two in-laws say, Rindi is pregnant. Because coincidentally, it's been 1 month. She didn't have his period. Rindi thought maybe it was just stress.

Stefano glanced at Rindi briefly, his hand then patted Rindi's shoulder lightly. So that made his wife a little surprised and reflexively turned to Stefano.

"What are you thinking? Why are you silent?" Stefano asked.

Rindi did not immediately answer and looked at her mother-in-law for a moment.

"Eommonim, if you dream of flowers, what gender will the baby be?" Rindi asked innocently but wanted to know.

Rindi's mother-in-law smiled widely and her eyes sparkled. Looks like her guess is right, Rindi is pregnant now.

"Ya! Do you believe it?" Stefano asked in disbelief.

Rindi turned to Stefano and then nodded her head. Stefano glared in disbelief at Rindi's response.

"Didn't I tell you I didn't have my period?" Rindi said asking Stefano as well as clarifying everything.

"Assa, our grandson, Yeobbo." -Call husband and wife

love- Rindi's mother-in-law's voice sounded so happy and her husband nodded and smiled.
