"Halt!, you guys stay out here while I go in to check if my Alpha will be willing to accept all of you in" Ariel, Liam, Carter, Vick, and Tiara were forced to stop in their tracks when they finally reached the pack house.
They obeyed and agreed to stay outside the gate while the male went in to make his Alpha aware of their presence. He was being nice to them but could have at least allowed them into the compound, rather than leaving them outside the gate as if they were some sort of ordinary commoners begging for aid.
None of this pissed anyone else more than it was doing to Ariel. Not even her father who treated her like a prisoner would keep her out of the pack house standing outside the gate like she wasn't part of the place at all. Jacob should just wait till she gets her hands on him.
