"Hey"
"Uh…hey" Ariel forced a smile, watching Vick come to stand beside her.
"What's up with you?" He returned the smile, his gaze following Ariel's own.
"Nothing" She shrugged, "I just came to watch them" Ariel fixed her gaze back on the pack members she was watching before Vick came and joined her now.
"You look really happy watching them" Vick. Do they interest you?" Vick questioned while Ariel let out a smile, watching a couple of kids play with each other.
"Yeah, I think so. When I was their age, I was never allowed to play that much" Ariel recalled the way she was always confined in her old pack house like a prisoner, whereas her sister and the other kids were allowed to play as much as they liked.
"Sorry about that, you deserved so much better and still do" Vick apologized, making Ariel surprised that he apologized to her as if he was the reason she was treated like a prisoner back at her pack house.
