"I thought you had a party you were supposed to go to on Friday? Friday's gone so you missed it. Why?What happened?" Ariel directed the question to Blair, helping her out in putting some clothes on a hanger and into the closet.
Blair stopped with what she was doing and sighed. She really hoped Ariel didn't ask that question just now. Ariel never showed any interest in going to the party with her but she still knew the party was going to happen on Friday, even with her mind focused on something more important.
