Avril sat on a bentwood stool beside the window of her room, enjoying the gentle afternoon breeze splashing on her beautiful face. Her midnight long hair danced in rhythm with the air and she smiled each time the breeze splashed on her face.
She looked beneath the window and watched the little growing up pups playing with each other with mud. It was spring season and the ground was covered with wet mud.
Avril shifted her attention from the pups over to some teenage females like her, they seemed to be cracking jokes with each other, caused by the way they were laughing and having fun with each other as friends.
Avril knew them all and they were friends but not with her.
Having fun with friends? That was one thing Avril had never experienced. The only thing she has always found fun in was when she banged humans without her father's knowledge. She had no real friends. And just like Ariel, Avril does go to the city without her father or any member of the pack knowing.
