Ariel stood firm, straightened her shoulders and lifted her chin. Her eyes met with Avril's, who was grinning already. That wicked grin that always formed at the end of her lip.
"I came to tell you something and it's about Car-"
Avril raised her hand, stopping Ariel from completing her sentence.
"If it's about Carter, then you should leave" her hands pointed directly to the door. Ariel glowered at her with a 'are you serious' look?.
Ariel sighed a sigh that was almost a goan, was Avril being serious right now?. Was she a fool for letting down her pride to come speak to someone she didn't even want to speak to, just for the sake of making things work out for the both of them rather than being enemies?.
Avril must be kidding her.
"Stop being a bitch and listen to me Avril" Her tone was calm but the 'bitch' she added in her statement flared Avril up.
"I wasn't being a bitch, Ariel" She smirked, fully aware Ariel was getting mad already by the way she was responding to her.
