I don't know why he's so angry. At least he knows this marriage is one of convenience. I wonder why he cares if I mention Declan or not.
But is Declan my kind of man? I don't even know my kind of man.
I like the fact that I was able to send him out of here. I don't want anything to happen between us especially since I will be leaving soon.
I'm not even his Hattie.
I get dressed in a black t-shirt and pink trousers. The knock on the door jerks me out of my thought. Is that Henry?
Well, Henry will never knock on my door.
"Yes, enter."
I look up and watch the door open. Regina walks in with a tray of food.
"Good morning," she says.
"Good morning," I reply and watch her place it on the dresser before walking away.
Why haven't I got a call from Everett? He's supposed to call me and give me what I had requested from him.
