Chapter 68: You've got me
Owen's POV
When I came to, I had a throbbing pain at the back of my head. I felt dizzy and I wondered briefly about the object that was strong enough to knock me out completely.
"Good! You are awake. For a minute there, I thought I had actually killed you. Planning a funeral and an escape would have been bothersome"
I recognized the voice. It was fucking Odessa.
"Thank the moon, I am alive. What happened to me?"
It was pure sarcasm.
"I knocked you out" She said like it was just a normal everyday conversation. Like she was telling me she prefers peas not to be in her salad or something.
A headache prevented me from grabbing her neck and applying just a little pressure till it snapped.
It would be a favor since she wanted to die anyway.
