Emily's POV
"I'm sorry, Emily girl…I'm so sorry. Emily, can you hear me? Emily!"
They say when a person's life is over, every little important detail of the life lived flashes through their eyes.
The trip they took to celebrate an anniversary, the smile on their loved ones faces and if they are lucky the warmth that came with being enveloped by the man they love.
People see dead relatives ready to welcome them to the sweet relief called the afterlife, where pain and sorrows are no more, where the sun never sets and the rivers are clear as day.
Where butterflies come in different colors and prey and predator live together in harmony.
A place where good comes to stay forever and ever till world without end.
I was told that when it's over for a living being, life flashes before our eyes but not for me.
There was nothing. Just endless…nothing.
