Chapter 196: Home, sweet home
Home...A simple word with the deepest meaning I could find. It took me a while to realize that home isn't a place with rooms and a garden. It's not the biggest mansion with the widest pool anyone could find. Home is more…it's just more.
To me, home is a feeling…home is the people you can't live without, home is Emily and Xavier and Miracle and all I want to do was to go home…to them but I couldn't not with the weight of the world on my shoulders…not without a solution or figuring out my next step.
From where I am sitting, the future looked gloomy and it was uncertain and I hated uncertainty too much for it to be my life now.
And so, I turned to my friend.
