Chapter 180: The helplessness of Waylen
Emily's POV
After futilely wishing for Waylen to look at me, I went back to looking at Robert.
The entire time Robert spoke his head was lowered. It looked painful and my husband didn't seem to be in a hurry to say or do something about it and I wasn't clear on what to do at the social gathering since he was crown prince and I wasn't.
"Welcome, I have met Lucy. She is a lovely girl…and you don't have to keep her head like that, Robert. And please call me Waylen"
I waited patiently for Waylen to introduce me but he didn't.
He was being fucking childish!
I smiled and shook hands with our guests. "I am Emily and we will be right back" I told them and grabbed Waylen's hand.
"Can we talk?" I asked him as I pulled him away from the guest.
