Chapter 176: My love
Owen's POV
"I am sorry" Ari said. He was fighting back his own tears.
"I feel betrayed…and I…thought she loved me. I am a good judge of character yet I couldn't see her for who she really is. Why couldn't I see what was staring me right in the face?"
I had a feeling that Ari had no answer to give. Who could blame him?
"She used to be my rock! The one thing I was always certain about. It's why I tried so much to be what she needed, a son she deserves. How dare she sell me out?! How dare she not love me as much as I loved her?! How dare she come into my life and blow it up? How dare she become a caricature of the mother I love? How dare she shatter me into a billion pieces? And…there is no glue, Ari! No one left any glue!" As I talked, tears streamed down my face.
My voice was raised and my lips tightly pressed together. My clenched fist was firmly placed by my side as I glared at my brother.
