I was quiet. It was like my mind was desperately trying to find a suitable answer, a good answer but it was taking me as long as it was taking me.
I nodded "Alright babe. I am sorry I lost my temper. It's just that if I let him spend some time with the twins, then what's next? I forgive him? I run back into his arms and we can carry on like nothing happened?"
"Do you want that?" Emily asked me.
"No!" Then I exhaled before looking at her and I spoke my truth "Maybe…how is it possible that I miss him? I am so…weak"
"No…no, baby, you don't know how happy I am. It's not really a good feeling that you are still clinging on to the heartache caused by Cassie…it's like a cloud, a reminder that you might still have feelings for her…"
"I don't. I swear to God, I don't"
Emily smiled and kissed me on the lips briefly.
