Chapter 143: Ari finds Emily
Odessa's POV
I almost died last night. I would have died an unhappy soul and my spirit would have been trapped for all eternity! Without the disgusting sweats to keep my mind occupied, last night's event came crashing down.
Damn it! I was going to cry and Ari was going to see me.
I quickly glanced back to the image of Ari and he was still securing the horse. I looked around, it was a beautiful place. There was a hill with a waterfall left of me and pebbles beneath the strangely clear river.
The place seemed secluded as it was breathtaking...too bad I was going to use it as cover for my tears. I pulled at the dress I was wearing and luckily, it was loose. One of the advantages of sick people's clothes, it gave me all the space normal dresses didn't.
I dropped one of my hands and slipped out of the dress leaving me almost naked with my panties and bra as the only clothing
