Chapter 111: To never staying sober
Owen's POV
I was reluctant to get up from the bed. Maybe I thought if I ignored the caller, they would eventually fade into oblivion. But, forty four seconds and counting yet the knock on the door was persistent.
Begrudgingly, I pulled myself up from the bed to shoo the mad person away.
I pushed the door open with my left hand, ready to throw a deadly glare at the intruder.
"Owen! You are back" Odessa's tone was bland and unwelcoming.
An observer could see that her presence was more of a nuisance than welcomed acknowledgment.
I just wanted to be left alone. How hard is it to be left the fuck alone to deal with the hellhole I call life now.
"Ari was telling the truth. You are in Black silver" Odessa experienced both shock and excitement at my presence while all I felt was the urge to slam the door on her face and disappear into my room.
