Chapter 106: Emily leaves for college
Emily's POV
I stared outside the car window and watched the sky. It was evening yet the sky was having fun creating different amusing shapes and it was very beautiful.
I looked around as we drove past a lot of things on our way to sun city college. I was even bold enough to roll down the window to take in everything and I must tell you the scenery was worth incurring Zuri's wrath…it was heavenly, with green grasses all around and chirping noise from the birds on the tall trees. They were music to my already enchanted ears.
I closed my eyes as the cold breeze blew on my face making me smile as I took a lungful of air.
I felt someone sitting beside me stirr but I refuse to open my eyes and interrupt the glorious feeling I was enjoying at this moment.
I wanted to keep my eyes closed until the gush of wind was over.
Oh my God, this was what total happiness felt like.
