Adrian’s POV
Although I can see the look of concern and worry behind Alicia’s eyes from where she is standing across the room, I have no choice but to ignore it because the evidence doesn’t lie. The vial of poison has been found in Toby’s room, so there is no way he isn’t behind this.
I look over at the four men behind me and nod. They know exactly what I’m asking of them. A gasp leaves Alicia’s lips when the men walk around me and two of them grab both of Toby’s biceps, restraining him in the place where he stands in the hallway. The crowd behind him gasps.
“You have left me with no choice but to throw you in what we like to call ‘prison’ here in our pack,” I say, my voice dripping with disdain as the vial of poison feels as though it’s burning a hole through my skin where it lies in my palm.
“Don’t do this, Adrian!” Alicia shrieks from behind me, but I ignore her pleas for me to stop.
