Late at night, the stars shone like a splendid sea, scattering across the firmament.
Atop the lofty and precipitous summit, the sea of fog roiled like the depths of an abyss, concealing untold mysteries within its obscurity.
In the whistling mountain wind, a lone figure sat cross-legged, gazing at the flickering stars, watching the undulating mountains.
"The world changes, even for one without equal, cannot withstand the vicissitudes of the human world," reflected Zhou Dao quietly, a wistfulness flickering across his clear eyes.
"Once the heart is moved, cause and effect must follow... such emotions are not good for you," intoned a chilly voice, as the black crystal in Zhou Dao's arms trembled faintly.
"Unseen, unheard, without thought or feeling... Who among men could achieve this?" mused Zhou Dao softly.
"The human world is vast, and within the tumultuous Suiyue, there is no shortage of such astonishing and brilliant talents..." the black crystal spoke again.
