Sunlight rays down to earth, making the trees sway as if they were dancing under the sun. The honking noise of cars fills the air, and people walk back and forth on the side of the road. Some hold coffee, while others seem to be in a rush. This cycle repeats itself every day.
5:45 am
In a dilapidated apartment, a man in his 20s woke up from his bed. He had dark circles under his eyes and his face seemed exhausted. Zack was an employed person. In the morning, he worked at a small company as an encoder. In the evening, he had a part-time job at the convenience store till dawn. He could only sleep when his working hours ended at 3 am.
Zack walked to the bathroom to take a bath. He opened the tap but no water came out. "Is my water supply cut off?" Zack mumbled to himself.
Zack decided not to take a bath. He quickly put on his clothes to go to the company.
'growl'
Zack's stomach growled. He didn't eat breakfast because he was saving his money to pay off his debts and he only had 10$ in his wallet then.
"I'm so hungry, perhaps I'll buy some meat buns and yogurt," Zack thought as he bought his breakfast. He paid 1$ for two pieces of meat buns and 50 cents for a yogurt milk drink. He only had 8$ and 50 cents left in his wallet then.
Zack consumed the meat buns in a mouthful and drank the yogurt in a matter of minutes. "Satisfying," Zack smacked his lips, feeling satisfied. He stood up from his seat and prepared to leave when his vision started to blur. He quickly stabilized himself and massaged his forehead.<
"Maybe I was just exhausted," Zack told himself.
6:48 am
XXXXX COMPANY BUILDING
Zack arrived at the building and greeted his colleagues with a smile. When he entered the elevator, he met one of his female colleagues, Vivian. Zack greeted her with a shy smile. It seemed that Zack had a crush on her.
"How are you?" Zack asked her. "Good, and you?" Vivian replied and asked him back with a smile.
"I'm good," Zack said with a bit of redness on his face. "Hmm," Vivian nodded her head smiling.
After that, the two stood silently without any conversation. Then Zack seemed to remember something. He pulled out his wallet and took 2$ coins.
"Hmm, Miss Vivian, here are the 2$ coins that I borrowed from you at the cafeteria," he passed the coins to Vivian.
"It's alright, you don't have to," Vivian pushed away his hands.
"No, I can't do that, Miss Vivian. These coins belong to you, and I only borrowed them," Zack insisted.
"But you're not bor-"
"Please miss Vivian, accept it" Zack insists. "If you say so," Vivian smiled.
The elevator door opened up and Vivian came out. She nodded to Zack and smiled.
'So beautiful,' Zack's heart beat faster, his face turning red due to his happiness.
Then Zack remembered something and came out to the elevator door when he saw Vivian tossing the coins that he gave to her into the trash can.
"Disgusting beggar, my hands are now dirty because of that filthy asshole," Vivian complained, throwing profanity at Zack.
Zack who was standing behind her froze. He couldn't believe what he witnessed. The feeling of being on cloud nine before turned into a bottomless pit.
He felt that his heart shattered. He didn't understand what he felt then.
Zack came back inside the elevator with soulless eyes. He had a sad smile on his face. "Yes, I'm just a piece of a useless asshole," he whispered to himself.
Zack closed his eyes and muttered, "It's better to work hard and think about how to earn some money than that useless feeling." Then he calmed down.
'ting'
The elevator arrived on the last floor, and Zack came out and walked to his table. He turned on his computer and started work.
'tap tap tap'
The whole office was busy, and the only sounds that could be heard were the tapping of keyboards and the voices of the employees.
11:50 am
It was lunch break, so the employees decided to stop their work. They all left for the cafeteria to eat, except for Zack.
Zack seemed to be focused on his work. His hands continued to type on the keyboard, and his eyes were fixed on the screen, almost without blinking.
After the lunch break, the employees who came back from the cafeteria were shocked. One of them approached Zack.
"Hey Zack, are you not hungry?" the employee asked.
"No, I'm not," he shook his head and said. "Well, it's better to finish my work earlier than later."
"If you say so," the employee said and walked away, returning to his seat.
Zack smiled to himself. 'I have no money though. Even if I'm hungry, I can't just spend this money of mine.' He shook his head before proceeding with his work.
4:58 pm
Hours passed in the blink of an eye, and their working hours were almost over. The employees had already packed their things. When the clock struck 5:00 pm, all the employees left one by one. Only Zack remained at his table, seemingly finishing something.
'tap'
"And done," Zack clicked the enter button and stretched out his back. He was about to stand up, but his eyesight began to blur. He felt that his world was spinning and his head hurt like someone was piercing it. And then, he finally collapsed.

After an unknown amount of time, Zack finally regained his consciousness. He opened his eyes and saw a big blue sky. He wondered how he ended up outside when he clearly remembered that he had passed out.
Zack tried to get up, but he couldn't. He moved his hands and they moved, but somehow he felt that his limbs were familiar yet unfamiliar.
He looked at his hands and was shocked because his hands were not the hands of a human or an animal, but of-
"WATER?!" Zack shouted in fright. He couldn't believe what he saw. He could still feel the sensation when he moved his hands, but he couldn't believe that those hands were his.
Zack decided to calm down and look at his hands, not noticing that his surroundings were only water.

Zack's mouth was wide open when he heard the voice and realized something.
"Wait, is that the system that usually appears in novels that I've read?" he paused for a moment and muttered. "Did I die when I collapsed and get transmigrated here? I have no memory either, so not transmigrated but reincarnated." He looked at himself and said, "But what race? Well, not a human, but maybe a demon of elemental race."
Then Zack voiced out a command in his mind,
