After fighting through what seemed like hell Hakiriti finally found a space to hide out in. The battlefield was drenched in the blood of his fallen comrades and a majority had already parishes to the mechanicus menace.

They were originally meant to serve humanity, but the Five Pyramids used them to wipe out humanity. Hakiriti thought it best not to think of the outcome, instead he kept pushing on through a world of genocide and contempt for its own kind. He piloted his mech to a safe corner to check his

damaged frame. While doing so it started to rain, and whilst in his thoughts he remembered a time of peace and when things were simple.

Back when the city of Tokyo wasn't a barren wasteland and the world hadn't gone to shit. 'Wishful thinking' he thought if anything, the scientist he met on the other hand promised a re-do if he could power up a modified mechanicus heart in the shape of a star.

Right as they were discussing what seemed like an unrealized plan the mechanicus hit and the rebel base was destroyed in the ensuing chaos. All his friends stayed behind while he escaped with the star. He hit his dashboard thinking about it. Hakiriti obviously felt pain in the gesture, but instead he plugged the star into his power supply and charged the star all the way up. While doing so he was surprised to find the mechanicus were all around his hideout and readied his mech to fight one last battle. He knew he was finished if he died before the star got to do whatever the doctor said it could, caring about that came later. The mech was ready and it purred with one last defiant cry and the machines all poured in attacking from all angles. Hakiriti fought valiantly stabbing through a horde of machines so vile they couldn't make distinctions between good or bad, child or mother. Until finally he drew his last breath when one of them snuck up from the buildings collapsed wreckage and stabbed him through the back of his frame and into his shoulder. Knowing certain defeat Hakiriti self-destructed and took the bastards with him.

When he awoke he was back in his younger self and realizing this he felt joy. A concept he hadn't felt in years. He already knew his next course of action though: find his friends, find Allie's and bring down the Five Pyramids before they release Hell upon his world again.
