"So how did it go?"
Woo-Jin asked Junho as they were going to the agency after his audition yesterday.
"They said they're going to review it."
"Well Euri and Nayeon did record the entire thing but I couldn't quite hear a thing aside from their sobs so I'll say you did good with whatever you did."
"I did it okay but not great, I certainly could have done better but I guess that was all I could do for now."
"Well acting isn't quite the same but almost the same with music in a sense that you'll get used to it eventually but you do need a role or something that'll make your popularity explode besides your still young and 20 years old."
"I guess."
"Look the roles you will get will be plenty if you prove yourself, after reading the entire story you gave to me it makes sense that you play high school students since you're in that age group, more roles will be given to you if you do well in that trope first."
"So you're saying I should take roles like those?"
"No not necessarily, its just an example its ultimately up to you what you want but personally I think you should, most of your fans are still students and if I do a thorough research on then yeah."
"So do I have any offers?"
"You did but you left NEXT which I should say was more beneficial."
"Did?"
"Remember when you shot for Taeyeon's 'Fine'? "
"Yeah."
"They wanted to cast you as the second lead for Dream High."
"Oh."
"But there are certain rumors' now."
"They want a season two?"
"Yes, with an all new cast and there's rumblings that you're gonna be part in it along with Bae Suzy, as for now its all talk but if you prove that you can take the lead role then you'll be prioritized first."
Junho looked at the side of the road and though about it carefully, 'Dream High 2' wasn't good as its predecessor but if he could change it then it could also jumpstart its career and that the fact that he had Suzy this time it was possible.
"So who were the previous cast if its season two?"
"Let's see, it was still Kim Soo-hyun, Taec-yeon, Ham Eun-jung, Jang Woo-young, Kang So-ra and Lee Ji-eun"
"That's a star studded cast so why aren't they coming back?"
"Creative Issues, Story Issues, stuff like that but that's not what you should worry about, what you should worry about is whether you can act good enough to be the lead."
"I guess I did skip a few steps."
"You skipped a whole lot of steps and we're here, keep your mouth shut about it for now I'm only telling you so if you won't get casted in the role you want at least you still have something to look out for."
"Thanks Hyung."
-
Junho was alone this time, he immediately went to the recording studio, right now he only had Inkigayo and that was it, he was thinking of a song that could rival something memorable like 'Growl' he knew it was bound to be released since he didn't pick it up and he wanted to beat it.
He was filtering through different songs as he looked at the translucent screen in front of him as he was filtering hundreds of songs, within an hour it was until he found something that caught his eye.
"This could work."
He immediately bought the song and information transferred into his brain on how to reproduce it, it wasn't his song that he produced but from another producer, he then immediately bought the dance routine.
"The song fits into what I want but this means, I need to at least find the right members that's five spots gone and I think I need to think more about this, well seven could work but who."
Junho sighed as he looked at the top of the ceiling, finding talent was easy but finding the right people was even harder.
"If worse comes to worst I'll take on any position but I can just start and remove the positions and just keep the Center and Leader position."
He scratched his head in annoyance as he took a deep breath, he took a pen and circled the number seven.
"This is final, but this is even harder."
Junho then immediately stood up and stretched his body, right now he wanted to drink Banana milk, he chucked as he thought that at least if there was a coincidence it was that He and the character he played 'Minho' both liked the drink.
"Hey got a new song for me?"
As he got out he was greeted by JYP as he left the studio room.
"I wish I had one since I don't have anything left to do for now."
"You do still need to practice for your last concert as Wings."
The two walked down the hallway as Junho stopped for awhile and bought Banana Milk from the vending machine from the Agency Cafe, JYP laughed and waited for him. right now they were still catching attention as they were heading to the evaluation room.
"You want to watch the trainee's? Today's their last weekly evaluation before the yearly evaluation to see who stays and leaves and after that later on there's going to be an audition tomorrow for the new batch that will replace that ones that will leave or want to leave."
"Yeah sure why not."
Junho and JYP entered the evaluation room, as they entered there were already seats and the regular evaluators seated, when the trainee's saw who entered at first they were surprised not because of JYP but because of Junho they didn't expect him to watch them.
"You're already making people nervous."
Junho laughed along with the evaluators, he already knew them since he was only a trainee for six months and he too had been in their shoes, he coughed and stood up.
"Good luck to everyone out here, don't mind me I'm just here to watch the show, if you want to shot up in the rankings of the evaluations then you can just create a song for JYP that'll win him awards fighting!"
The trainee's calmed down a little after hearing him and they were glad he wasn't part of the evaluation team while JYP laughed harder as he remembered how Junho got in the first place.
"You know by my standards you were already pretty old when you got in the agency."
JYP whispered into Junho as they looked at the performance at the same time creating an image as if they were judging the current trainee.
"I still debuted after perhaps six months with the agency and another six with the program? Still it was a year."
"Fair point."
"And I did give you a song."
"Alright alright you've made your point, so do you have any trainee's that caught your eye?"
"I'll keep it for myself, so these batch of new trainee's tomorrow?"
"Its a one in a hundred chance if you're going to ask that question, most agencies or even trainee's won't even leave their current circumstance since, one, they feel indebted to the agency, two, they already signed a contract, three, something bad must have happened and it would be a PR nightmare for the new agency."
"So finding lost trainee's is hard huh."
"Yes, well what about your other friends?"
"You mean those guys who called my Hyung?"
"Yeah, I did sign one or two."
"Don't lie to me I know you're gonna debut them into a new group and adding them right now feels a bit weird for them since you know we got all these awards now if there were no awards I'm sure it would be a different conversation but."
"I get what you're saying, so just pray for that trainee then."
"I guess."
The two continued watching as Junho just noted some people but no one really caught his eye, he had only around a month at most to find the last two members for them to assimilate smoothly with the current group.
'Being a producer is hard.'
Junho laughed in his head as he continued watching and wondering how his Sister's agency is doing now.
