"Yes, he is. I told you about it years ago, remember?" Mum added as she turned around from the pot she was staring into to give me a direct look.
"Actually, I don't remember, but alright." I deadpanned as I took in the kids expressions.
The youngest one had their iPad against her chest with both her arms around it, her teeth biting on her lips like some chewing gum while the eldest one leaned against the cabinet with both her elbows propped up behind her on the counter, the middle one was doing nothing in particular, all she did was to allow her eyes roam everywhere.
"I'm coming, mummy. Let me get something from my room." I threw over my shoulders as I headed outside the kitchen.
Mum reply of understanding came immediately before the sound of her urging the kids to go along with their Aunty Fay.
