I wiggled my brows at her teasingly.
"Are you going to the states for the holiday?" I asked as we crossed the school's gate.
"Unfortunately no, but I will in a few months time for Christmas, he promised." She replied, obviously feeling excited about that.
Like who wouldn't be anyways?
Of course my parents fly out a lot, like a whole lot, they just toned it down a few years ago.
Now, it's mostly my dad that travel out for business stuffs.
I haven't been out of Nigeria tho, surprising, I know.
"Cool, I'll be at home throughout." I told the two of them.
"Hm, I wouldn't, I'll do a lot of visiting." Amara replied.
"I'll just flow with the way things goes." Abu answered, his hands tucked into his pockets.
"I'll miss you." Amara said to Abu with a laugh as she playfully squeezed his cheeks.
"I'll miss you too, man." Abu replied as he pulled her into a hug.
