Dressed in a jogger trousers and a matching jacket, I loosely held unto the chain attached to Chelsea's collar as we walked slowly on the smooth part not far from home.
It was a some minutes to seven, with only a few people on the street since it was a Sunday and many people were going to be sleeping in today since it isn't a working day today.
I made up my mind to take a walk today when sleep decided to not visit me throughout the night, and since my dog is around, I brought her along to keep me company.
Not like we're going to be talking or anything, but at least I have an excuse to ignore everybody and state down at Chelsea instead of greeting people I don't feel like.
I got tempted to plug in my earpieces to my phone and distract myself with music on this short walk but then I had to force myself to remember that this isn't a movie and that I might get hit by a moving vehicle if I can't hear the sound of them driving towards me in the first place.
