"You have to leave, Beowulf," Yuri said.
He knew that but the sound of his name from her mouth left him frozen as he stared for a second longer than he was supposed to. He took some steps back as he took all that she was in -- recording it in his mind. It had sounded so alluring to his ears.
"Meet me there," Beowulf finally said as his ears picked up footsteps. He smiled. He had gotten to see her and she was doing alright. That was what he needed to know. Beowulf was relieved.
They were close, Beowulf thought. He knew that he had to leave, and now. However, it was painful to tear himself away from Yuri.
He turned around and then stopped again. "You called my name so well, Yuri," Beowulf said.
