Annually in the Yidal Kingdom, the king didn't break the tradition of the heir going around to visit some of the surrounding kingdoms -- the human kingdoms. He'd done it during his father's reign and now, it was time for Yuri to do her duty. These Kingdoms were under the Yidal Kingdom -- as subordinates so to speak as they paid tributes to King Tyrian, especially for protection against mercenaries and above all against the werewolves.
However, this was always a time of strife for King Tyrian as Yuri was always adamant about going. It always ended up in them fighting over the season she'd like to go or something as trivial as that -- at least according to King Tyrian.
