As the portals continued to open, more and more monsters emerged. Fein's shadow army continued their relentless defense against the invading creatures. Their movements were fluid and synchronized, like a well-oiled machine. With a nod from their leader, they split into smaller groups, each taking on a different type of monster.
In one group, the shadow soldiers faced off against a group of orcs. The orcs were massive, standing over seven feet tall and wielding crude weapons made of bone and metal. The shadow soldiers were smaller, but they were quick and nimble, darting in and out of the orc's reach and striking with precise attacks.
